where did you get that little lap timer screen? do you need sensors on the track?

How stiff are your springs? I started at 550 in the back and already at 1000 after a couple test days (e36). And it's still loading the outer edge of the tire a bit much.

Well at the end there was the Hard Left.

Ruins your time when you have to downshift for the corner anyway.... If he were to up-shift, he'd have to get on the brakes while downshifting. This way he saves his pads/rotors and the time it takes to shift. Nice run man, been looking into participating myself, but either the car's never in prime condition or I don't have the entry fee. >< Someday...

There used to be a class for equally prepared Ford Focus SVT's. There was a specification you built to that had specific wheels, tires, suspension, brakes, etc. It never really took off, which was a shame because they were great cars and cost nothing to build.

Do you mean Anti-Lag? I didn't run anti-lag on this car because I was on a tight budget and was still running the stock ECU. If I had a bigger budget I would have had anti-lag, a dog box, fancier suspension, etc.

The Evo was repaired (pretty easy fix), but I sold it to a friend of mine. I didn't have the time or budget to race it regularly, so it seemed like a waste. It went back to Targa this September in my friends hands. :-)

@crazydevil360 I hit a tree on the driver's side of the car; which damaged the rocker panel, door, and the a-pillar. It was the hit to the a-pillar that shattered the windshield.

Car is fine. Lots of body damage, but all cosmetic. Car drove back down the hill under it's own power, and cage is fine.

A 2:04 on the old pavement -- even with the bypass -- is pretty good. But you could make up a couple of seconds just by changing your line (and speed) through turns 8 and 9.

Awesome recovery @ 1:00...sometimes its nice to have AWD...bet that got the heart pumping for just a few seconds...

How did you mount your camera and which camera are you using (lipstick / Tape / Solid state) I have an Evo that I take to track days often and all my mounts vibrate so violently I can't watch them in replay...Great Video...Good luck this year...car looks much stronger than last year..keep the videos coming...
