The leveling system from Dwight would be a great match for that game too. Curious if they do that on DnD similar to Venom.

Love my Mando. It gets forgotten these days but it's a great shooter with even greater code in my opinion.

It is tough to get to the wizard modes on that game. I enjoyed my time with that game.

Jaws, JP, and TWD at the moment. I love the code on all of them and enjoy the “choose your own adventure” style of Jaws and JP.

Are you referring to how it appears in the switch test menu?

If you’re using the button to launch the Pinball, you can go into the adjustments menu and I believe it should be under standard adjustments and you can change the strength on the auto launch. If you’re trying to manually plunge it and it’s not getting through the U-turn, you can change the shooter rod spring. Don’t quote me on this, but I think the normal shooter spring for Jurassic Park is orange in color.

I’m learning some of the shots and also learning what NOT to shoot for unless necessary. 😂

No. I have custom made streaming lights on it for the stream but the was pre-expression lighting. It would have been cool to see what they could have done on TMNT with expression lighting.

@@dennisd4027 I can understand the frustration with Elvira‘s house of horrors. I had several issues right out of the box. I did a decent amount of work to get mine shooting really good, but understand why others would be hesitant to buy one. It is a great game once everything is dialed in.

@@clayhodges7173 haha. I’m putting up the old episodes by game and I played Elvira on stream more than any other games. Lots of episodes over a few years.

If there is an increase in current, at the same level of resistance, the coil will heat up. This can be caused by several different factors. I had a coil on Nightmare on Elm Street repeatedly fire (it was stuck on) and it heat up so much it started burning the coil paper and smoke started coming out of Freddy’s mouth. It was quite the scene. If you ever see or smell smoke, or a burning metal smell, turn the game off immediately. Higher resistance produces more heat because when electrons flow through a conductor with high resistance, they experience more collisions with the atoms within the material, causing them to lose more energy which is then converted into heat energy; essentially, the greater the resistance, the more energy is dissipated as heat due to these collisions.

Nice. It’s a fun game and fits nicely between the Bally Williams games and a modern pin. Very cool game.

I would check the opto inside the house and behind the backboard. I created a video on how to remove the house to get at everything and it’s worth checking those optos in switch test. Something is not registering and this is a common complaint on that game. My opto (behind the backboard) was misaligned out of the box and repeatedly fired until the game shut down. I had the house off my NIB game within 20 mins of unboxing. The house opto is a common problem. It may also be possible that the ball is hopping over the opto beam. Check the optos in switch test first as that is likely the issue.

It may. It worked well on GB. The brackets are a bit pricey but worth it for certain games.

For me, it is a top 5 game. I really enjoy the path through the game as well as the ability to choose how to proceed thru the map. I also like the adventure aspect of the pin as it puts you on a journey thru the park. It’s a tough game but fair. I owned it pre-pandemic, hit a wall in the gameplay, then sold it. Took a 3 year break and gave it another go. Really loving it. Jaws Prem and JP Pro are my two favorites at the moment. I think JP is a fantastic game.

I am really enjoying Jaws and would say it is probably a top 5 game for me. I really like games that put you in the role as the player and jaws doesn’t disappoint. I should be able to play x-men in the next few days so I am not really in a position to comment on it yet. I have had Jaws for a few months and still really like it. Lots of ways to blow it up and lots of choices on how you want to play the game. I don’t regret buying Jaws at all. It’s gonna stay for a while 😁

UA-cam will usually allow the audio as long as you don’t monetize a video but some artists don’t revenue share so UA-cam cuts the audio. Twitch does it too now. I’ll pull the game music and feed in something else. The callouts should still work.

Some artists won’t let their music be played at all even when you let them have the revenue. I’ll keep the callouts and just splice in free to use music next time. Twitch muted the audio as well and left the mic input. Bummer.

@@AJFurypinball that’s a tough one. I do really like both games a lot. I felt like Venom was easier and more friendly than Bond. I liked that I could hop back into Venom at any time and level up my characters. It was more approachable in than Bond. Bond is absolutely loaded with content and got to an amazing place. It can be really mean and will test your patience. With Venom, you can change characters, chase different paths, etc. With Venom, banging out back to back to back combos was a blast. I managed to beat Venom but didn’t get close to beating Bond. When I played well on both games, it definitely felt more rewarding on Bond. I always felt like Venom is a great game to help with your shooting skills. Bond is all about controlling the chaos. If you are looking for a fun shooter that you can play in bursts, Venom is a great choice. If you are looking for a ton of content in a more difficult game, I would recommend Bond. When I played a great game on Bond, it felt amazing and more rewarding than Venom. Hitting the same combos over and over again on Venom can get to be a bit repetitive. Don’t forget, there are a lot of Bonds and Venoms out there so there is nothing stopping you from getting one, playing it for a while, then selling it to get the other. Now is a great time to buy with prices down and as long as you don’t overpay, I think any losses you take if you sell one will be minimal. If you go Venom, I would recommend the premium or LE, with bond, the pro, Prem, and LE were all great. I don’t feel the Bond on a wand added much to the game or the lighted scuba scoop for that matter but the tower ball lock to stage the balls for the multiball is pretty awesome. I still think Bond and Venom are both underrated games. That probably didn’t answer your question but just some things to consider. I would give the edge to Bond. Let me know what you decide. I don’t think you can go wrong with either, just don’t overpay if you are buying used.

I forgot to address the question regarding complimenting the two game you already have. GZ is fun and has a lot of content. Turtles is pretty brutal based on the time I had on it. With those games in mind, I think Venom would be a breath of fresh air. The leveling system is unique and Dwight did an amazing job with it. I can see how they would work it into other games. Since you already have Turtles and that game can be ruthless, Venom may bring a little bit of balance. I likeness Venom to Deadpool, it’s just fun to play. You can also work on leveling up all the characters in the game and the shots change depending on who you pick. I regret not playing through the game with all of them. If you enjoy punishment, get Bond, if you want a little variety, get Venom.

@@HurryUpPinball thanks so much for the advice. Really making me think. So the venom LE would be my friend giving it to me for $7800. The bond Premium NIB for $8300. I was leaning towards bond too as it really has become my favorite game in pinball. That being said my thought process was maybe go venom and when it gets stale like you said flip it for a bond or heck just hopefully buy a bond and hope it doesn’t get stale before then. I remember you were really digging venom and playing the hell out of it. Between the two which game has you hitting the replay button more? I find myself on Godzilla to have a solid to great game and move to turtles…doesn’t have the replay button like turtles…which would you say does that between venom and bond?

@@AJFurypinball I hit replay a lot more on Venom. $7800 for an LE (friend price) is a great deal. I think Venom is a good call. I miss my Venom more than I miss my Bond.

That’s a big jump. Even though it went up, I still think it is worth the money if you plan on streaming consistently. It makes setup so much easier.

I just priced this out, pre tax and shipping at 80/20 was around $546.63, the same parts at Tnutz was around $298.76 pre tax and shipping.

I hope it helps if you decide to do one at some point. It can be hard to find new playfields for some games and it can be a great option.

@@metelgeer I currently do not have any videos on the crypt door. Mine was slightly open and I messed with it a little. I believe there may be an under playfield adjustment for closing the door a little bit but not much. I couldn’t get mine dialed in but it worked well and the gap was pretty small.
