October was wild for me xD I read some of the best and some of the worst books of the year and they pretty much flipfloped back and forth, so I was all over the place. Add my lowkey reading slump on top of that and then you know how my month went... best book of October has to be Little Thieves for me. Just perfect execution, chef's kiss, 5/5 ⭐, can only recommend.

We listen to songs together and then tell each other what we see/feel/smell/taste and all the fun stuff. So it's interesting to see how you interpreted the songs (which is part of why I was so excited when you started this series and asked me to be in it xD) KITTY!!!!!!!! I'm so glad you loved this book Jess... it has become my favourite book I have ever read and I think you summed it up really well that it really is unlike anything else I have read, it is really unique. I so agree about how vivid and wonderful the world building was it was like the world jumped off the page and into my head ! ALSO big love for the cutest interruption in the whole entire world, what a beautiful and majestic creature that is clearly so loving and is so loved in return. I enjoyed this vlog soooo much .......Still can't believe you read it in a day

If I want to go seasonal I do Faeries for Spring! Witchy for Autumn! Vampires for Winter! Summer depends on the weather...so mood reading.

I tend to go for pastel cover books during spring to match the vibe but I also enjoy books about plants and plant magic such as This Poison Heart because it just feels right to have plant magic when plants are all coming back to life again!
