quick question...At the beginning, he said they brought in $1100 in a like 11-hour day ( 58 seconds into video) is that for two employees bringing in money as in revenue as as in bringing in or more net profit ? I run a home service business with 4 work vans in Las Vegas and always wonder what 1 employee should be bringing in a day to 'break even" I spend A LOT on marketing (over 20 percent) and not making money, so of course, labor is something I want to dial in. Thanks in advance.

8 years of business and I haven't spent a single cent on getting a customer

Good video my problem for my business is the one and done customer. I do the project they say it looks great and I never hear from them again. Most i will call 6 months or a year later ask if they are ready for another service. They either say it still looks good or play the game ... Check back later or just make a excuse. It would be nice to have a way to identify these customers. I would rather have all repeats than one and done cusomers. Repeats are more profitable.

Releasing a 2nd video on Friday seems like a great idea. Perhaps leave the update from current episode/person’s business for the 2nd video to increase demand

Great video Mike! Over the past two years I have handed out over 10-12k flyers in a rural town here in Australia that consists of about 17k homes. From that flyer hand out, I believe I may have received one or two calls. Lol I tried door knocking for a bit, but had no success at all. Five or so years ago, (pre covid) I handed out flyers, and the phone calls were coming in very fast. It seems the difference between now and five years ago is the economic problems we are all facing post covid. I have recently found a site where I was able to download about 20k numbers of the people in my area and surrounding areas. We are probably going to try cold call them one month before spring rush over here in Aus. (It’s a Pest Control and Property Service company. (pest and lawns etc)) Maybe you could do a video on... “what to do when flyer advertisements and door knocking fails” lol P.s. I appreciate the clean content you post. I am a Bible believing Christian and because of the swearing and immodesty that is often posted on other business channels I tend to stay away from UA-cam. So far, I have found your channel to be quite clean. Keep it up. God Bless.

I love Google guarantee I'm part of it I pay about 15 to 20 dollars per lead. Almost 90% of the time I usually win the leads on Google guarantee. Because the lead isn't getting sent out to everybody they called me.

Our CAC is virtually $0. We are exhausting the capabilities of our Google business page. We rank at the top of the list in our area with 23 reviews and ratings. Listening to Mike's advice over the past 3 years has helped us know what lever to keep pulling to keep potential customers calling us weekly!

Personal experience with highly focused ad in my market.. . CPC was around $36 per.. 8 Leads… 3 conversions. So around $800 for 3 customers is not a good ROI. We get much more just on our name recognition and brand awareness. IMO MOST everyone in this for the long term should be investing in branding and get YOUR story out in your community… be the first name anyone in your target areas think of when they need service. Not as easily measured but…. Again IMO not enough talk online about this in the Lawn / Landscape industry.

Homeowners do not prioritize Pest Control when they are struggling with mortgage payments, and many prefer to mow their own lawns to save costs. I have come across a website that offers a database of over 20,000 individuals in my vicinity. The plan is to start cold calling them one month prior to the arrival of spring, in hopes of generating work through this method. What are your thoughts on this approach? Would you recommend any alternative strategies? It would be great if you could create a video discussing this topic, such as "What to do when your current advertising isn't effective." I personally do not use social media and have no intention of doing so. Therefore, I am limited in that aspect. However, I am open to exploring other ideas that may be available. On a personal note, I truly appreciate the valuable business information you provide. Example: Yearly Revenue / Customer 1.000 $ 20 % Attrition =5.000 $ Lifetime Revenue 20 % Profitmargin =1.000 $ Lifetime Profit 1.000 $ : 100 $ CAC = 10x "MoCAC"
