You’re a person, you make mistakes. The past 2 months you’ve been batting incredibly, .300 avg and a .900 OPS. You’ve made the yankees a much better team, offense and defense. As a devoted yankee fan the only thing we wish that could happen is being more focused on the moment at hand, boone benching you was the right move. I hope and fully believe that this will make you a better player. You are one of the best offense and defense players in all of baseball and I hope youre the yankees second basemen for life.

Being completely honest, boone made the right decision to throw you out. But what I was amazed by was your accountability, not many people would own up to not running on that play. You did. In that interview you clearly care about how you perform for the New York Yankees. You’re an incredible player who has the tools to be amazing but at times seems like you aren’t completely focused. Which coming from a baseball player makes sense. But at the end of the day I 100% believe in you and your effort, after this benching I’m expecting even more production than youve been giving. Torres forever a yankee.

GT#25- been following you since April 2018 and your first AB w/Yankees. I’m just a vanilla flavored white guy from Utah but been a Yankee fan since 1977. I lived in Caracas in 1987. Scary times. But I love Venezuela and especially arepas! And Malta Caracas! One of my prized possessions is a Los Tigres de Aragua, Maltin sponsored baseball jersey. I wear it to every MLB park I go to. I saw you in Texas against the Rangers in April of last year. You will have an amazing year!! 😊

I remember going to bat-a-way in coney island in the early 60's - 25 cents for 12 balls. I could at least stand in the box and swing with slow pitch. They also had fast pithc, which blew smoke with each pitch, and I stepped out every time. Scary. The skill to hang in there and hit that ball is so unique and rare - incredible to watch here. Gleyber- great channel. Good luck with facility. I would come there if I lived in the Bronx. They will come. GIO- it brokemy heart when you were traded.
