A Roof For the Cardboard Dollhouse
I decided to use the look of a corrugated roof to finish the roof of the 1/6 scale dollhouse. It is a simple to make the roof apear to be corrugated by tearing off the sheet of paper on one serviceof the cardboard.
I though this video would complete the 1/6 scale dollhouse, but I have more mistakes to correct.
Folks check out the book of poetry I wrote. You can find it at Barns and Noble online and look up WONDER by James E. Williams. A lot of injoyment for less than $5.

Exterior Walls Stone Effect
Переглядів 61Місяць тому
This video shows the preparations and painting the exterior walls with stone effect paint. This was paint that I had left from building a castle for my grandson in 2010. The covering of windows worked well and no paint got inside. The project is near completion.
Chopsticks Chair
Переглядів 28Місяць тому
This is a project I have wanted to do for some time. Back in 2018 I made my first chair from popsicle sticks. I wondered what one would look like if made from chopsticks. So just for fun I stepped away from my current project , the 1/6 scale dollhouse, and made a chair from chopsticks. I would encourage everyone to check the playlist about the things I made with popsicle sticks. I thank everyon...

Exterior Walls Reinforced
Переглядів 825 місяців тому
This video is about the reinforceing of the exterior walls of the cardboard dollhouse. I removed what I call the play windows, the areas where they can reach into the dollhouse to play with the dolls. I put the shape of the roof to show how it will look , but this was only temporary. I will break down the structure and turn it inside out to finish the inside.

Dear Sam, could you tell me where I can buy this light fitting? Is it in kit form? I live in Melbourne, Australia and I would love to buy one of these lights, if the company that makes it delivers to Australia. Thank you for this great video tutorial. Cheers from Amanda Jones

A company that makes them is Kable Kontrol. You can find them on Amazon. I found them on line at Home Depot . I tried one of those plastic coffee stirrer and it seemed to work. I only had a red one ,but it secured the wires. Check on electronic sites.

I'm a little late to the program, but I am so impressed with your gift box idea, even a month after Christmas. You have included items i would not have thought of. And, it makes a great starter kit for a beginner to purchase on their own without breaking the bank. Thank you.

Are you able to turn the light on and off on Sam's Study? I'm looking at the instructions now and it looks like it's installed under the floor. I'm not sure how accessible it is there...

I’ve been curious about this first book. Thanks for sharing about it! It reminds me of my childhood dollhouse - using cardboard boxes for my house and then making everything for it from common objects around our house. I used bottle caps to make pies, matchboxes to make dresser drawers, broken jewelry to make chandeliers, etc. Good memories. Thanks again, Kathleen.

Thanks for the video. I'm about 90% done the kit, except I've been struggling with the lighting waaay more than you did! I'm going to have to buy more of the wire and heat-shrink tubes, as I've had to redo them so many times. Do you know what gauge both the wires and the heat-shrink tubes are approximately? I couldn't find the information on line.

Thank you and I completely agree this task is tedious and difficult! I so far have the separate lights done. I'm not making them into a lamp but am instead hanging the lights through my miniature Japanese lantern. I still haven't figured out the part where you put the lights together and connect to the long wires, but watching your video several times definitely helped!
