Impulsively throwing away albums (also anything in mass quantity) just because of a sudden urge to not look at them anymore, is incredibly wasteful and detrimental to the environment. The whole reason collectors are looked down upon is because of this of frivolous nature (compulsively spending then disregarding afterwards). I can’t imagine what it’s like behind the scenes if this is what’s being openly admitted publicly

You said that you spend a lot of your time in front of the PC, so I think that investing in your space is more about comfort than a hobby, to be exactly. It can be so exausting working and studying, but if you do it in some clear space or when you feel great and cozy, that's enough for take my money lol sometimes we just gotta remind that life is too short for being in a space that you don't like.
