The 9365 TEU Container Ship CMA CGM TAGE heads southbound on the Mississippi River after departing port Nola. This thing was pretty big, don’t I’ve ever seen one this size on the Mississippi, and pretty cool seeing this style show up with the bridge closer to the bow and stack close to the stern. That scrubber makes the stack look like a crew quarters!

Harbor tugs Andrew S. & Dee White heading southbound lite boat on the lower Mississippi River. These things have some amazing power and the Andrew S has azimuth stern drives which makes it incredibly maneuverable.

Why don’t you like them. Hoped up CFM56 engine very reliable AirBus 320 NEO uses the same engine. Feel better now?

You probably still have low water huh? Been very dry up here! Are they even moving loaded Barges? So, you got a drone huh? I like it!😊
Waters very low, a lot of exposed sand bars down on this end, I saw pictures from the upper Mississippi of a low water conditions and grounded barges. Down on this end there’s quite a bit of movement. And yea i decided to get one and so far it hasn’t disappointed lol and thank you!😁

I have heard it on videos and it sounds pretty cool, I would love to hear it in person, I’ve usually been successful at getting the bulkers and container ships to blow their horns when they pass but always failed at getting a cruise ship to do so.
@@m1kh41l.ty13r It’s probably harder with cruise ships because they have to prep the horns and make a “trigger warning” announcement before they play them.

Ive just seen that the other night south. It was docked on the West Bank.
Wow, are they able to pull alongside a dock and simply walk them off the ship onto the dock? That is going to be interesting!
From my understanding that’s what they do, they get the ship tied off, and load it to the right level and walk them off. I could be wrong though, that’s just what I’ve heard.
