I think that migjt be an L 37. The 47 had bigger f holes and Tortise binding. That L 37 has white binding like an L-30. The L 47 also has a veneer on the back(curly maple) as well as birds eye or figured sides. I believe the L37 and L47 both had sunburst paint jobs on back and front,however the L47 was also offered in Natural for a slight upcharge.

I have an Ashbury Cittern and Irish Bouzouki, both great instruments that really open up after being played for awhile. The Irish Bouzouki just rings out once the top loosens up!
