I only recently discovered RnB and other American Artists like Brandy And I am soo glad I did right after I moved to America. Brandy and Jazmine are so far some of my favorite singers to listen to and learn from. My singing and hearing ability have improved so much after listening to gospel and RnB singers.

I describe Evangelist Jacky Clark Chisholm's Voice and Style as the R&B/ Smooth Jazz styles of Anita Baker and sometimes the Pop style of Diana Ross with a Gospel Growl at times. With The Clark Sisters, she lead songs like "God Understands All" "Salvation Means More" "I've Got An Angel" "So Much Joy Inside Me" "Wonderful Counselor" and "No Doubt About It". She can sing! She just has a different style from her Sisters. Now at times Dorinda has been called the Jazzy Sister, but they all got some Jazz influence.

You all make every excuse besides the truth. Kelly is a vocal beast! Kelly def had confidence until it was beat out of her. What Kelly needed was a support system. Meaning a label, mgr, mom/dad who velieved in her. No doubt kelly can hold her own with the best of the best. You learn to be the second lead...you don't grow up aspiring to be a 2nd lead. Unfortunately, when we are young without much in our corner, we tend to settle and think it's our place. I can 100% identify with Kelly on many levels, which is why she is a soundtrack in my life. Kelly now has the confidence, talent, $$$, but not the public support she once had fresh off simply deep. Any real DC fan would know Kelly was the main taleng behind DC. She could switch roles effortlessly. Be the lead one day and petfect the harmony the next. I still say that Kelly in her prime was the next whitney vocally. Too bad she was relegated to 2nd by the industry and consequently the public.
