@@edmirkore8913 ty brother
Sort your camera out!!!!
ya need to get a go pro or a chest mount well i have one now so hope it does better on next run
I like your video brother, but you may want to place that metal "catcher" that you have over the flames in its slot under the candles. You dont want to slow or back up the heat too much in that small space and risk the flash point of that melted wax. You may also want to place that cooker/heater on a flat metal surface like a small cookie sheet (or your metal table) to insure that if the melted wax does flash, you could simply cover it with a pot to snuff the entire thing out. Since you are using it for heat, you want the heat to come out and not be trapped inside the metal box. Once the candles go out, the residual heat coming off that metal sheet over the candles would be negligible so in my opinion, your safety and the safety of your gear is more important. Wish you the best my friend.
ya in the tent i use a baking try and camping table also but ty for the support and rem to sub and like ty brother
I liked and subscribed. God bless.
welcome to the channel brother ill be taking out the bike for first ride since my leg and ancle injury got a stage 3 higher and lower sprain and leg but we will be back on the go soon had to take time off the vids untill it was better
Good wee idea. I have one of these stoves but not tried this. Cheers (Sub'd)
ty very much and welcome tot he channel brother
Make a little piece of metal for the top (to protect the bottom of the fan) and place a small dual fan woodstove heater (non-electric) on top and get what heat it does produce to circulate around the tent. Perhaps place on a paver or tile to insulate the tent floor. Oh and pick up a fire extinguisher the size of a spray paint can to keep near. Not an order, just good advice. :)
i have a usb fan that seems to work well
I have been looking for something like this to use in a tent for winter camping. Candles burn clean but don't last long. Cost too much for long-term. Crisco is a good alternative but think it would need some type of stack to burn cleaner. To draw more air.
cant get crisco where i live and its way expensive to have brought in i get around 3 hours of heat from the little candles that anoth for me when camping as you would not leave it while u sleep anyway
i buy the candles by the 100 so im ok but ty for the info
@@gencrow9840 Yes but crisco candles last for HOURS, they burn cleaner than regular candles with no odors, and crisco liquid is not flammable, whereas candle fluid is. I use tuna cans or cat food cans and set two wicks in them so they burn evenly, and increase my heat output. Three cans = 6 wicks. Can get a whole night out of them
@@dobrofool ya but the point of the vid was to run it on candels also we cant get crisco where we live i think that would be like the survival candles u can buy
Thanx, immediatly got one myself!
rem to put a baking tray on bottom to catch any drips and use a small camping table to up it on metal would be best
also u can get the candles cheap online but make sure there paraphine free
Been doing some snow backpacking around here. Ive been using the UCO candle lantern right up by my head while I sleep in a double walled tent. They make some that hold multiple candles too, worth a look. I like this idea you have im going to try it next week in the snow see if It can raise the temp much, ive had one of these twig burners for years and never used much.
cool ya even a little heat when camping is better than no heat
You better watch the polis don't get the bomb squad involved if they catch u wi that lol
lol
Danger! its not just wax but paraffin and it's not advised to use so many as the fumes can combust, I have the heater for on the gas stove but I'd not put more than 2 in it at a time, and btw get something below to catch the wax they are notorious for leaking.
i was useing 5 out of 9 and there paraphine friendly candles i use tells ya on the side also i leave vents open and have a oxigen detector as well just incase also i use a metal tray baking tray under it to catch any melts lol but ty for the concern
Crisco will burn a lot longer than wax candles.
i just dont like the look of it over hear its expensive to get that stuff we i use candles they last long anoth for what i need it for
but every one to there ow buddy there is no one answer to survival ty for the comments
I can get 100 hour emergency candles 🕯 from Patriot supply...
thats good my wife gets the 75 hour ones at a frith store but there to big for the heater we would need to cut them to fit but there pretty good and cheap if u wanted say light but the litle candles are the right size for my heater also used ehinol a couple times but i still prefer the little candles just easyer
💯👍
u like the lights there real nice in living room or camping lol
It's a gid machine, I had yin I will mair as likely buy another yin. See you later pal.

Good Idea but if anyone uses a enclosed tent ( ground sheet sewn in) that Idea is extremely dangerous
yes but what i do is use a metal folding table with a oven tray under it to catch any drips etc wax that is important rem to sub and like would help me allot brother
Where did youbuy the little stove 🤔
on amazon for 12 bucks or 15 bucks bt rem to use a baking tray under it incase of spills
rem to sub and like i real need the help tell ur friends as well ty bro
That's a fantastic idea. Except for putting your ash tray under the grill. Bad juju. I do something similar to your using a stove but without the solid metal cover. The candle wax will melt & cause a flash fire because all the wax will ignite. You'll be better off without your ash pan on top that will hold in the heat & ignite the wax. Which can't be extinguished. I learned the hard.way after leaving my Bush pot of coffee ☕ on mine for too long. 15 minutes of my pot on top of the grate with 4 candles held the heat in to the point all the wax melted in their tins & all the wax ignited. I had to.use my needle nose pliers to grab the whole stove & toss it in the stone firepit where the wax splashed & kept right on burning while splashed across the rocks. I had the candles inside a large 12 ounce chunk chicken can. That wax is just like petrol once melted in liquid form. There's similar warnings in the videos for making the Terra cotta pot heaters. Just some helpful information from experience. I'm subscribed. Looking forward to seeing more great ideas from your channel.
if candles are level they burn away with no probs but always better to keep eye on them lol
welcome aboard also better to use a tray
i put the plate on top to stop any heat melting someone above it and hold in head better i also use a tray under it to catch melts works fine for me but extra percausions are noted
I bought the little wood burner, but never thought of the candles! Great idea.
and welcome to the channel we some stuff in the making hope u like
Great little heater! Thank you
np and ty for viewing please sub to help the channel ty
u can also add up to 9 in it makes better heat i had only 5 left for the vid
im not sure on the company name just type in twig burner ull find it
cool thing mate
ya its ok does work but not very accurate on psi reading but does work
Put a candle down into a can of crisco for long lasting light/heat cheap.
i tyred that one gave of a bit of black suit land us a sub you'll see us using it in real time when the winter hit i thinking of using 2 of them and prob using ethanol
That works well. I live in a tent all year in north pa.
@@rueporter2253 ya there real good with 9 candles u can also use bio fuel or gel fuel bur be careful
@@gencrow9840 I lined my tent with those reflective blankets , it keeps the heat in nicely. I made a quilt with five big pockets on it for my feral cat friends to snuggle up in to help too, lol. Three dog night, well I got a five kitties blanket. 😉
