Speed The Plow - Clawhammer Banjo
This is a cool tune called Speed The Plow, a centuries old dance tune originally from England.
“Speed the Plough” was one of the most popular vernacular dance tunes of the 19th century, frequently printed and often entered into musicians' manuscript collections on both sides of the Atlantic. The phrase ‘God speed the plough’ is derived from a wish for success and prosperity in some undertaking, and is many centuries old. -tunarch.org

People have been really supportive on here and it’s a big motivation to keep sharing. Hoping to get better with video editing. I’ve played guitar, and banjo since I was a teenager, but got serious with the banjo about 5 years ago, and that led me to wanting to learn fiddle too, I’ll be playing that for 2 years in September. @@markerin8277 It’s super easy! It’s standard tuning with the 5th brought up to A, and goes back and forth between F#m and a two finger D chord with the 1st string open, and then just a basic folk picking pattern. I should try to add some more melody notes. The original song is pretty easy on guitar too. It’s a whole step down from drop D to C, and then the 4th fret power chord and a D chord I think. Cheers!

I don't know if you caught this video, but I saw these guys at the oldtime festival last month. He had a modified fender mini with the frets ripped out for that fretless banjo sound, and strung with a high 5 string like a banjo. It has this really psychadelic, but still traditional sound. Really interesting.
