Hey, I wanted to know your impressions after 1 year with the omen transcend 16? Do you have any bugs?
How's the trackpad/touchpad? I have the OMEN 16 from 2021, and the trackpad/touchpad is horrendous because of the infamous static buildup/grounding issue.

Yo I have a question, do you have this issue: when you put the charger into your computer your screen becomes black?
I had a couple issues in the beginning where the screen went hazy but not from the charger

Is it suitable for a graphic designer? Programs that I used are indesign, illustration, Figma, Photoshop, After effect, and sometimes Blender.

Thanks for this video, I walked into best buy yesterday and saw this laptop in white and I really couldn't walk away from it. Between this and the lenovo 5 or 7 pro, I can't decide which I like better. I would say the screen option has me wanting the HP but I've never been an HP fan. This laptop looks and feels premium though. Enjoying your purchase so far?

does the vent on the right side blow out hot air? i keep my mouse hand near there and ive had problems on other laptops where they blow air onto my mouse hand. it's not too bad, but definitely an annoying inconvenience.

much better than the previous generation. i feel kinda silly now for spending the money for the new Z13 acronym edition. I currently have the HP envy (2020) edition with the full keyboard and i avoided the Omen for looking too "gamey". but this one is absolutely stunning.
I actually have the z13 also. I have 2 edc tech bags. 1 for the z13 + 16 inch monitor + tkl keyboard + mouse and 1 for the omen 16 + 17 inch monitor + mouse.
What!? So the keyboard is mechanical? Never saw this on the description. That's a surprise
The laptop is very beautiful, I mainly like the design of the 2022 model better, from what I could see I think they did a better job on the screen, it is not as flexible as last year and it has better brightness, I mainly like it but the matte screens, perfect laptops will not exist, it will be perfect for each client and for their needs, good work by HP, the only thing that the previous design would have left would have improved the screen and the quality, just one question, which parts are made of plastic and those of aluminum
I can’t be for sure I wish I could just grab a magnet and tell you but the only way to be sure is scratching the paint off. But the chassis (bottom) for sure is.
I believe the top (screen) is the only thing that is plastic, along with the bottom opening (the one to unscrew and change specs).
Thanks, bro. No complains. I like the 2022 version better, I find it more aesthetic, even though the webcam is only 720p (the biggest let down). This year they made it look more like a gaming laptop - and the screen is 16:10. I know the 2022 was a mechanical and technical improvement over the more-pointed-edges 2021 version. The new "transcend" aesthetic will be used for the regular models, so the truly "transcend" models are the ones with the mini-led display and the w, a, s and d letters difference. About the old 16:9 or the new 16:10 display I'd say it depends on personal taste, especially when HP reduced 0.1" in display size this year for this change. Also, is the mini-led display matte? If possible, keep us updated if any hidden major flaw appears in time, which I think it won't, tbh.
I made a mistake the model that I have is not the mini led. This model only is 400 nits. Once the mini led comes out I’ll give it a look.
@@Austen403 Oh, so your model is simply the Omen 2023. The regular one, already with the new aesthetic. MAKES SENSE BRO, cause I was like: wait a minute - his screen is matte? Mini-led Matte? It is Matte, after all, then? Simply not Mini-Led, nor Trascend. Funny thing is that the a, w, s and d letters are different anyway

@@psibrunojustono it's not simply the omen 16, but omen transcend... You can see it doesn't have the omen logo insignia unlike an actual omen 16...

yes but I don't recommend it

@@immutablecantrip the charger is 270v if you charge over type c which is only 65v-120v it won’t be enough to support a full load. It might be fine powered off but not running.
@@Austen403 Ok that's fine, as long as you can still charge it. Means that if I go on a short trip, I don't have to bring a huge power brick if I am just going to use the laptop sparingly

Great choice and incredible that has Mini LED, 240 hz I’m incredibly interested in this laptop, although has to be with Ryzen HS 7940 Not looking good there so maybe Asus Strix Scar G16 Ryzen, but probably and HX Ryzen 😢
I’ll go over some topics on why I went with the i9 hx instead of the Ryzen 9 7k.

Nah S3 all the way s4 is a manual car S3 is a DCT car S4 was not stock S3 was stock fresh out the lot
@@Austen403 On paper the s3 didn't look fast enough! I thought one was sub 300hp and one was above 300! I'll have to keep on looking and checking them all out!

S4 driver cant drive, made me cringe how long he was riding that clutch
Unless you just want something smaller.. the S4 is a really great 4 door. Plus you can say, I did not buy the entry level S series.. as the S3 is. The guy in the S4 really needs to work on some skills. The only real difference I see here is a S-tronic with less BHP woop on a S4 that needs a driver aid.... that being said the S3 does weigh about 400lbs lighter. But I would rather drive a S4.
Are both of these cars stock? I'm about to buy a s4 and they have 333 on paper but dyno tests say they make 350. I'm just confused on how you pulled away from him with 50 less horsepower

S4 is heavier. I have a 3.0tdi with a map and although not as fast it gives decent mileage compared to the petrol engines.
