I spent all morning crying over someone I didn't know existed 24 hours ago ;-;

I remember when I was 19 living in my very first apartment. A lot happened to where my ex moved out and my best friend moved in with me. I was an alcoholic and she was an addict. Earlier in the night, we were sitting in my Christmas lit living room, drawing together. We doodled faces of people we didn’t even know. We later on went outside to smoke a cigarette. I played this song on repeat with my best friend, while we created shadow puppets under the porch light. Just embracing the sadness of this song. I am now 22, and my best friend was 24. She passed away a couple months ago due to her addiction. I miss her everyday. No one understands how hard I tried to save her. This song will forever make me think of her.
