I have had technicians out multiple times and they have no explanation for burning smell. Gaskets are goods Bearings are excellent No plugged pumps Filters are clear Board is fine Visual inspection of every single part is fine. I have a tech coming one more time because the smell from my clothes is so bad I CANNOT wear them. If LG cannot fix it they are replacing it. I will make the LG technician watch the unit run and smell the clothes after the run because I am PISSED off and want a working unit.

Useless. I’m sure nobody is complaining about the dropping noise. There’s obviously a problem with the LG ice makers’ prolonged knocking sounds. Fix it instead of pretending it’s all normal.

How about knocking noises that last for 30 seconds or more?

What a useless video. Clearly if people are complaining to your support department about the icemaker making loud noises, it is not related to the ice falling into the bin. Why does the ice maker make loud knocking sounds for up to a minute straight? Help your customers out instead of gaslighting.

Works for many similar machines. Exercise the agitator with your hand even if you don't see an obvious obstruction like the coin example they used here. Mine worked right after I did. Thanks for posting LG! 👍
