So where is the black wire going now? The coil?

@@darthlatimer9818 i been eating Holley's for 40 years this way ! All kinds a crazy stories . I remember beating a guy with a .030 over 390 . Class 3 meling race cam . Boat anchor Holley . Headers . I got a stock 307 . With a 327 intake so i could run a q jet . Headers n a q jet . He got a car length on me from the get go . I was behind him . Both of us turning left . So i came from behind . We turned the corner . I rolled to the right in first and dumped that spreadbore q jet . Railed bye . Put 2 car lengths on that 390 with a stock 307 ! That guy was pissed ! ! ! We got to the next town n pulled over . Shit ! Fuck ! I cant fuckin believe that ! Fuck ! Good times ! Ill take q jet over anything . UA-cam search Todd Haven i think it is . Guys racing a firebird . Awesome q jet cam under the hood ! Be safe !

And I mean slaughter butcher everything even put a friggin cherry bomb on the exhaust of this 78 GMC and I am having huge friggin issues finding anything right that even remotely matches wtf I see in the firewall for wiring, yanked the starter finally gotta test it but definitely going to use Ur trick for the solenoid and starter and hopefully fingers crossed save me some head ache lol but that's just a wink of the greif I'm dealing with 😡🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤣 ( yup still some sense of humour left from the hair pulling lol )

I have the same cable type western pump no up/down or side to side i noticed spring action on lower switch but loose movement on upper cable switch in box on pump is that correct ? I'll follow your instructions on marking and moving check valve wonder if I have air in the cylinders ? Can't get the motor bolts loose to check pump and filter.
@@deanyanko3326 make sure you can here the pump activating. Make sure the signal wire from joy stick is hooked up . Still have problems hit me up !
@@theweldor757 I worked on it all day got side to side working and the ram went straight up to the top, can.t get the check valve to move with that tiny allen wrench the packing nut is free held it tight but the allen wrench was stripping out. ???
@@deanyanko3326 mine is a little stiff . But not much it turns freely for the most part . I wonder if someone has put thread locker on the valve part ? I do know each cable has to come back to neutral for the other cable to work properly . Say you turned left with blade . But the cable is still crowded to left of center . That will affect how the up and down works
The last time i check this model it does not have a power factor correction so it wil get damaged when input voltage drop too low compared to lincoln powermig 215 and miller 215 that have power factor corrections.
@@DharwinMoris i could write the first round off to running off a generator . Although the repair shop said they couldn't pin down what happened . This round , im not sure on either . Didnt get ran but 15 , 20 mins in the shop . Blowin the end off the tip literally ! Wire feed speed is stuck on 80 ipm . 🙄
@@theweldor757 probably the repair shop only replace a single blown electronic component instead of replace the whole PCB which was already fqcked up in first place
@@theweldor757 the reason i like everlast welders is that damaged welders do go to repair shops. they send right away new replacement circuit boards to your doostep and replace it by yourself. The advice i give to those who are using generators are choose a welder that have PFC of 0.97- 1.0

I always liked how a ford was wired becus with chevy having the solenoid on the starter u have to many wires coming up around the exaust manifold n its easier to work on it under the hood than to be laying under the vehicle or tryin to reach down thru

I don't understand why you welded/locked it in position. The donut makes the seal and allows movement, not to mention an easy method to align the bolts. Gasket?
@@dave_ecclectic ther is no donut at the collector flange . I weld them so i can grind the lip down and have a flat surface for the gasket to seal . Way better !
How u know if it’s the trans or transfer case ?
@@cody6.6max transfer case in these are knowin for self destructing . Rollin the dice . Havnt messed with it yet . Still having issues
Unhook the spring....fan runs all the time. Takes 2 seconds with a flat head screw driver

@@FINDROBLOX apples and oranges ! Stick and tig are CC . Constant Current . Wire feed is CV Constant Voltage . Only thing you could do stick wise is turn the voltage down !

Dont know what this idiot was thinking . He jacked the carb too ! Hes been trying to get this lady to sell it ever since her husband passed ! He won't be laughing when my 6'2 ass is in his face ! She got it back with the carb so fat itd hardly idle or run

He was supposed to do carb work . Which he screwed too . Hes been trying to buy this car from the lady . Guys been a carb guy fir 50 years . Specialized in vettes . So he pulled the original carb . Put a used Edelbrock on it . It was so rich the car would barely idle . Ran like ass ! So ive already pulled the carb he did . Re jetted it for altitude. Runs great now . Idles great ! He tried to make the car run like ass in hopes this lady would sell it . Hes been trying to buy it since her husband passed . F N looser mechanic anyhow . He re did the fuel lines and left the fuel filter laying on the intake . Everything he did ill end up re doing ! Just trying to scam her . Why even messed with the license plate we have no clue .
Thanks sir. I got my hands on a 65 c10 and learning as I go. Trying to overcome a hot, not crank issue with a remote solenoid. Your video is very helpful.
@@michaelaguirre8732 never fried a solenoid in decades since going this way ! Not one ! I was cooking a solenoid about every 9 months till i learned this . Be safe brother !
What if the pump is upside down
Why would the fuel pump be upside down ?
What about a set screw and thread the hole?
Getting harder n harder to find the plugs . I think next round ill just re solder . Tappin n plugging is definitely an option !
Same issue... out of the box... top hole... moved to middle hole and it's now running like a "raped ape"! ~ I was about to go down the jet size rabbit hole, you're quick to the point video saved me tons of time and cussing...
In the manual and Shop Key Pro they also say to make sure that when you renew the Transmission Input Speed Sensor, Turbine Speed Sensor, or Output RPM Sensor make sure it is in the same angle/ position as the factory one was.
