1901 Tragic Railway Crash, Tralee, Co Kerry
This is the story of a young man called Joseph O'Connor (Connors), who with along with two colleagues, was tragically killed when the train he was driving plunged into the platform at Tralee Station on 24 April 1901. His wider family and circle of friends (with a lot of railway experience between them), had definite views about the real cause of the accident. Steam trains of all varieties are used in this video, purely for the purposes of story telling. #railwayhistory #railwayaccident #traincrashes #traincrash #familyhistory #familyhistoryresearch #genealogy #irishfamilyresearch #kerryhistory #traleehistory
