My friend all dogs bark. But they can be trained to do it much quieter. Wisper and start say inside voice every time your fur baby barks, they will start to mimic you. Always praise when they do it right. Ignor when they dont. Just make it big when they do right. . And ignore them when they dont. It doesnt happen over night. It could about 6 to 8 months. But soon is will be a very quiet bark. Just train, train be happy and acknowledge the good. It will get better. I promis. Let me know how it goes in a few months. It can be done with patience my friend. I have 2 shi-chi's very yappy. But much more quieter.
