Installing the new bed.
Nice job! Looks really good!
Thank you!
would be best to wear gloves when doing this so you don't reintraduce oil to the plate
Do you have the files to share for the gantry pieces? I'm loving this color
www.printables.com/model/929513-sovol-sv08-xy-3d-printed-gantry If you search printables under xXDFAXx you will find my updated parts for the gantry. This was originally developed by CN3D all credit goes to them. Polymaker ASA Pop Green
If you have a single hole puncher, I've found those have been really nice for making the cutout for the screw in the magnetic sheet before applying!
@@jaredho7676 thats a great idea!
Nicely done! I hope you enjoy the mod as much as we have!
Thank you! Enjoying the Keenovo minmax I got from as well ;)

great video just wish it wasnt so dam costly lol
It's really not that expensive. You are buying an ultra flat Voron bed, the adapter for the bed and kinematic setup. Its 3 things. They could do an adapter that just bolts to the plate, but you would still get some warping. This setup allows quick warm up of the bed with minimal soak time. The difference I have noticed from a 10 minute heat soak to a 45 minute heat soak was a variance of 0.05mm.
@@2jzswapper it could potentially be worth it if it came with a heater but thats another 100 bucks basically.
You would have to buy a heater with any bed you replaced the stock one for.
@@2jzswapper i get your point with it ll and i think if i was useing my printer to make money 100% must have but corrently as a hobby hard to pull that trigger for me
Please make sure to rotate your phone for future vids.
This was done intentionally as I didn't want my computer and my train table in the video the whole time. I am uploading a new version of the video that's wider and more closeup where it matters and a wiring diagram that is easy to follow. Its still uploading to youtube.

Nice video! congrats and the Manda Rose Bed hat of for that work
Thanks @nadir3d!
Agreed. They did a fantastic job on this adapter & bed plate
God there’s a lot of green on that bench. I’ve got a rainbow red green blue orange. Lol
Oh yes! I’m running a modified pro chucker 7 now. Have some blue as well ;).
Is there any way you can give a picture of how you mounted it to the plate
I dont have it any more and no pictures :(. The base rail is simply welded to the round base thats threaded on the ram. It is clearanced for the locating pin and for the used primer drop.
When your first salmon is PB for life
What do you have installed in station 3? Is that a bullet feeder?
colin poellot its a electronic powder check. 1 size/deprime 2 primer bell/powder 3 powder check 4 bullet seat 5 crimp
@@2jzswapper oh cool. Ive never seen an electronic one.
colin poellot its a copy of a Dillon check. Does over under warning with audible alarm and red led.
Is that a lee brand case feeder?
Yes sir it is.
@@2jzswapper awesome, thanks. I may build one for my piggyback 2.
colin poellot the bottom plate is welded to the base. Then I had the tram with two bolts welded to the bottom of and trimmed so the case slider would glide past. Had the bolts double nutted to the bas plate so i could adjust the height. One nut above and below the base plate.
@@2jzswapper thank you. That info will help. Did you set the end of tram so it was very close to the shell holder? Im good with things like this, but always happy to get info from someone that has done it before. Great idea. Did you use this with more then one caliber?
colin poellot yes i had cut it to match the shell holder. So very little gap. I used this on .45 9mm .380 and .223/556. I have since upgraded to a Pro Chucker 7.
Nice Done. Do you have picture of the connction under the die?
Highcreek21 i do. Its just a piece of stiff wire coiled around the end the linkage rod and a tail thats about an inch long pinched between the upright and the top plate.
Hi, well done! Can you please show how did you fixed the rail to the shellplate and slider bar?
The base rail is simply welded to the round base thats threaded on the ram. It is clearanced for the locating pin and for the used primer drop.
Do you have a material list? How did you connect it to the press?
Great setup do you have plans for it. Does it work well?
I don't have plans just used appropriately sized metal from HD. Sold it on ebay recently. Worked great. Just slide on appropriate case slider and adjust case drop and pull handle. Rod pulls out of safety loop in event of slide jam. Pops right back in and you are off to the races again. Took the idea from the primer feed saftey rod.
