Golf Association of Philadelphia 125 Year Anniversary Documentary

The Golf Association of Philadelphia celebrated it's 125th anniversary in 2022 and ACB Films was contracted to produce a documentary to showcase the organization's achievements and growth. ACB Films is partnering with GAP & NBC Universal to broadcast the film on NBC Sports in 2023.

This scene was captured while driving from Santa Fe to Ghost Ranch. As the sun came up, a snow storm that had put about 6 inches of snow on the ground, ended. I stopped at the Chama River horseshoe curve to capture the amazing light and scenery.

In 1972 drove past her front door to install a monumentation site on the hill above. Didn't see her, but my crew chief drew my attention to her house.
Northern New Mexico holds a special beauty and, although my home is in the Pacific Northwest, I did graduate from NAU in Flagstaff, AZ and have travelled through the Abiquiu area three times to visit friends in Pagosa Springs, CO. Maybe one day I can purchase a place near Abiquiu or Chama, time will tell.
Perfect… just went for my first visit didn’t make it to Taos, but definitely went to the museum of hers in Santa Fe and would love to live there
The house in Abiquiu was built around 1838 by my Great-grandfather 4 times removed. His name was Brigadier General Jose Maria del Socorro Duran y Chavez. He and his family lived there well into the 1900s.
