Chevrolet Caprice PPV 2011-2013 9C3 TUTD Sport Shift Programming
This demonstration shows how to perform the required programming when going from a 9C1 to 9C3 shifter.
The main difference is the 9C1 shifter only has Drive and Low options, whereas the 9C3 has the sport shift Tap Up Tap Down (TUTD) feature.
The custom programming through OBDSync is required for any 9C1 vehicle that fits a 9C3 sports shifter so that the TUTD capability functions correctly.
This programming can also be used for shift boxes.

Can i disable my passenger seat seat belt dinger? It goes off constantly if theres anything in my seat. My phone charger cable even sets it off
Unfortunately we do not have anything that disables the seat belt detection since it is part of the safety of the vehicle.

Does this only clear the instrument warning, or does it clear the whole restriction for 130km+ when MRC is damaged/replaced/removed?
This demonstration is for disabling the warning off the instrument cluster, it does not remove the speed limiter restriction. The speed limiter restriction can be removed from either the Body Control Module (BCM) or the Engine Control Module (ECM) which we have rolling out in an update soon.

I bought a stolen recovered Holden VE, I then bought a security kit from ebay. The kit includes BCM, KEY, COMPUTER, IGNITION LOCK & KEY READER. The car now starts but the stereo displays a vehicle mismatch. Can I use your tool to change the vin number on each of the replacement part? Can your tool be used to copy the BCM data form one module to another in case the colour doesn't match eg the rpelacement module is Gray the original is Green
I have credits with the OBDSync dongle and already have the performance mode previously activated but don't see the transmission temp.
Transmission temperature appears to only be supported in the non colour screen (black and white) instrument clusters.

Where does the data on the usb come from? And where does it connect to the radio?
Skip to 52seconds into this video, it shows the popup box where it downloads the update to a Thumbdrive (USB Stick). After that, you plug the Thumbdrive into the radios USB cable (MUst have a USB cable fitted) and finally click the Proceed button in the software to start the update.
Wait, I’m confused… why aren’t these options included by default at the factory if it’s as easy as a software update?
Exactly what we think as well! Holden (or GM) only wanted specific features available on each vehicle. Which is why our custom programming is giving everyone the ability to unlock them, along with custom items never advertised from factory!

Required tokens for each module can be found on our product page: obdsync.com/product/obdsync-suite/ At this stage, you can change the theme/logo of the Mylink Radio, but we have not added the option to change the theme in the colour screen instrument clusters yet (its in development currently). You can still make various other changes in the clusters.

Will this allow full custom options in VF BCM? Example paddle shift, drl dimming and still enable fog lights in a Calais V?

Yes it is suitable for HSV and VF series2 models! (Its supports the whole VF range, 2013-2017)
This great. Question though, why did Holden diasble the AUX input when it has an AUX port? Again, great product, looking forward to getting one. :)
I believe it is because they thought it was no longer used, just like the series2 VFs also had the CD player removed. :)
This pretty much a more streamline version of using a MDI2 with gm software?
Think of it as a more user friendly yet advanced system that allows you to configure options for your vehicle. GMs factory system does not allow this, and will only ever allow you to program the options that are required for that vehicle for factory. Using OBDSync, you now have the option to change various features. Our up coming BCM programming option is a perfect example of providing heaps of possible upgrades by allow anyone to do upgrades such as paddle shift, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and a bunch of other options.
@@OBDSync interesting, as I was looking at getting a mdi2 with software to try enable features I've added to my car. This sounds like a better route, with more possibilities.. As I've currently been adding Calais/Caprice features to my Redline.

We have not yet added the ability to program new keys but it is something we will be looking into.
VF series 1. Does that mean you can change the screen from red to blue?
Yes you can! This demo was blue to red, but its just as easy going back to blue.
