The Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine's youtube channel features educational programs, projects, and events associated with our Museum & Theatre in Portland, Maine. In the wake of our temporary closure in March of 2020, due to the pandemic, we started an online series of programs called “At Home Together” that are designed to support parents with easy prompts for hands-on experiential learning, imagination, and discovery through play. Whether online or in person, the museum and theater embrace multidisciplinary and open-ended learning that allows for exploration of science, multicultural and community engagement, theater and the arts, and early-childhood education. You are invited to After Dark Halloween, CMTM's night-time event, and boo-bash, just for grown-ups. After Dark is an adults-only after-hours event that includes access to three floors of exhibits, activities, refreshments, and fun for those 21+. Proceeds from After Dark support CMTM's Community Fund, helping to open the door to all children and families.
