As an artist, I can relate to his experience. Despite the ups and downs, the joys and pains, we're pushed to the extreme - perform, show, etc. You become a means, a toy, because the music industry wants ROI. And with all this many disregard the person, the human being. Fans are great but they can quickly turn on you as journalist, critics. Where's the compassion, the understanding? Steve Perry and Journey - simply one of the best. Yes, some move on and that can be or is a natural progression to set things right, overcome difficult moments, and/or find inspiration. Personally, my my the the amount of artwork I have produced while listening to Journey, and other favorite groups.

Fame and fortune became priorities before freindship and comradeship. I deeply believed that if the five original members stayed together, they would even achieve much more. You could see how the band gone downhill after Hotel Califorina without the two core members. Timothy Schmidt was good but could never replaced Meisner and similary Walsh could never replace Felder

I got to know her when I saw "The Prime of Jean Brodie" a few years back She was simply awesome and so deserved her first Oscar, a rather miracle win. Having met both Glenn Frey in 1992 and Don Felder in 2019 I know which one I side with and it's not Felder. Good as he is as a guitarist he's not a very nice guy. He has zero respect for the band and their fans.
