@barrensoil I did a little digging, have you tried looking at the add ons in the psn store or whatever you getting it from? If your talking about the outfit where Dai is wearing the red cape, that can be bought separately which is $1.49 same goes for the other outfits for other characters.

@kermitwithamustache3885 Combat is very outdated, I mean I like these type of games so my opinion is biased. It's nothing fluid like big games, DMC 5, God of War, Ninja Gaiden series etc. But for what it was I enjoyed it. The devs who make these games are very low budget, pretty much all of their games are. But imo it's one their most polished games to date, Reynatis but even then you can feel is was made by a small group of people. I have a soft spot for the smaller creators. But back to your question, I like the combat, can't speak for you though. My best advice is keep your expectations low, or wait till a price drop to 15 bucks and give it another try. To be fair I had the same questions you had when I first saw and played the game. I ended up 100% the game lol. Another game they made was Crystar, that's what made me touch this game in the first place. Hopefully I answered your question good enough.

I was still able to get it, with over 40hrs of play I didn't run into any other glitches like that. Also, it fixed itself once I teleported out the map. Not as broken as you think but it needs to be patched.

You can redo it, since you missed it once you beat the game, save your game and it'll say "completed save" then go into system and you'll see chapter select. Go to the chapter up to that point save before getting on that elevator, so you can keep retrying until you get all 10.

You just gotta keep getting the same copies of the same card to level em up. Which means you have to farm certain floors to get what you need. Sadly I can't tell which floors since I haven't been on the game in months. But I'm confident that you can do it. If I remember right I got most of those cards from 1 through 10, 10 through 13 and 13 through 15 but that's all I remember. Once you get strong enough you can just skip floors like I did.

Have you tried the Amber exchange shop every time you've got the chance? Also try running through layers 14 to 17. I haven't played in awhile so I hope that helps.

I don't but everything in my recent vids for this game from the gameplay I recommend. But if you want a video of me showing that I don't mind that either. It's been awhile since I touch the game so hopefully my help was good enough.

Yup. I noticed later on because I already defeated him in the solo run, was just surprised to see him pop up in lower layers. Even got him to spawn about 5 times in a whole run.

It's been awhile since I played. Idk how much help I am now. But try doing layers 10 through 13 then rinse and repeat. Once you know where it drops you just keep at it. To be safe go from 1 to 13, good thing is even though the cards are random, they well always drop on the respect layers, so like you will never see finger flares drop anywhere else unless it's in the shop. Also you can get lucky like I alot of the time by going into the chest doors and getting x5 the card but be warned picking the wrong chest will make you fight off mimics.

10 through 15 is also good. If you can't skip like I can I recommend starting from 1 through 15. But I'm hopping you can skip, longs as you win the first fight of layer 10 you'll lvl up enough to where you don't get one shotted.

@uniquemoments1904 If you run into some metal slimes while still in low level you can skip ahead, they should give you some decent exp, I also abused Maam pink mist spell, It has a chance to make enemies and even bosses not hit you, I find it better than any of her damage and defense spells. I really wish that game had DLC or something so I can hop back in lol.

Don't know, never took the risk, but 1 boss enemy did survive the shot when having full HP, so he either had above capped HP or he had some type of ability keeping him from getting 1 shot. Hadlar was the name. To he safe though after that I been getting their HP a little below 70% before using.

Perks, I normally go for magic because that's what my build is based around so anything and everything cannot fight back, just stay stunned. But in your case, I'd say get crit dmg and crit rate high as possible, also the prophecy helps a ton so make sure you pay attention to that, it gives permanent buffs for that run. Also perks for cooldown is how I stun bosses so much, locking em down in 1 spot. As for challenge mode there's not much to say but I used Maam with the build you see in the video for all those fights. To farm her bonds you wanna do layer 13 -15, 15 - 17 until max or close to maxed. But if you can't skip layers like I can do 1 -10 until it gets easier. Maam melee class, atk, crit, CT, and def. Mag isn't needed only when there's no other option.

Side note, you can use hp and def perks and atk but only when there's no option for the big ones. If you run into atk doorband def door I usually pick atk, but if you have to much atk just go def because you're gunna need a lil bit of def, magic def is also good for those spamming casters in late layers. All my characters got some type of self heal btw, besides Popp because he doesn't even get hit that much. Hyun should be able to face tank anything and agro when you're in a pickle plus get hp back off each hit, while maam make enemies and bosses miss attacks with her pink spell which I find better than her defense spell, Popp will be debuffing and 1 shotting bosses you don't wanna fight, never use it on mobs it a waste. And Dai is your nuke plus hp regain on ultimate. You can also solo temple with just maam with the build shown in the video, only things to worry about is bombs since they 1 shot regardless of what your defense is, in a team with bombs use dai ultimate to kill them and hyun should use puppet string to freeze them, solo with bombs just hit them once or twice and dodge away. other mentions is Baran, and Ice walrus imo he's annoying, always kill them 2 first in a double boss fight. There's a layer with a red magic ball you have to destroy, you can get 1 shotted if not careful because it debuffs the crap out of you just use ultimate.

Story mode isn't to hard, but challenge mode I used Maam.

Maam healer and making enemies miss attacks, hyunkel sword for tanking and agro/stunning everything.

Use my build from one of my videos, I have builds for team runs and solo runs. And the perks I go for in team run is magic buffs, crit rate, crit dmg, CT cooldowns, Atk, and def and hp towards the end, always give hp dai because his hp scales of his ultimate hp regain, if no option just give everyone hp. My builds each character has some sort of hp regain besides popp because he barley gets hit, Dai is the nuke with a rotation where he can spam magic abilities all day while in the bosses face, while maam make it hard for anything to hit him because of her pink miss spell and healing bullet, while hyun and popp is stunning with puppet string, and debuffing/slow down.

Also my solo build you can literally eat popcorn while using it, nothing is a threat as shown. I recommend getting them bonds up to guarantee victory. You can even face tank Dark King Vearn, I have a video of that showing he's a push over.

No, layer mode is it's own thing. Difficulty only effects story and side quests within story.

From doing temple of recollection, it's in one of the high layers a rock god will talk to you and give you the spell. He'll ask if you want to equip it, click yes.

@justenneal8920 I just farmed Hyun in challenge mode to get every character to lvl99. With the full team he just gets destroyed super fast.

Not sure but it's there now as a reward. Shame that you still need to beat every stage on hard mode even if you did beat every stage on gore first like I did. And even more disappointed that both the original and the OD outfits look terrible. Look, I get that this is a low budget game and can't have the best cutting edge graphics. But my God, art direction for this game is just terrible. Really wished they went cell shaded at the very beginning of development instead of this. Cause cell shading is a good way to save on budget
