You have a beautiful home. Love you videos. ❤
Thank you so much!
Thanks for tips you're helping me a lots ❤
Happy to help!
Hello, everything looks so beautiful and lush. You have a good eye for plant placement.
Thank you so much!
Good morning thank you for Sharing your beautiful house plants lovely collections happy planting lovely ❤❤❤
Good morning!
You have a beautiful plant room and your plants are just gorgeous!! I recommend a Dean McDowell for your collection and a Summer Glory. The Monstera in your aquarium is epic!! Thank you.
Both are beautiful plants.
Beautiful paradise 🤗🌱🌿🤗
It really is, I happy to be able to share with everyone.
Dang it... I've been throwing away the little bark pieces in my regular potting mix coz it kept giving me splinters 🤣 had no idea it breaks down and provides nutrients 🤔😅 Back to the market I go 🏃♀️
😊
Just a recommendation, but you should try making Tiktok content 😌 short videos = more views. Am watching the whole thing but my attention span makes it hard 😅
Perhaps someday I will start using other platforms. Im using UA-cam to document what I am doing so I can watch it years from now and share how I care for my plants to help others with the same interests and to learn from other likeminded people as well. Im not an expert but I have learned a few things over time. Im not a UA-camr by trade and find it hard to find the time to make videos. I spend more time filming and editing then I spend on the plant care itself. Luckly, I do enjoy making the videos Aswell. Thanx for watching and taking the time to leave a comment............
THIS is exactly what I was searching for! Informational, shows and explains the care process, AND has beautiful plants that back up the results! I watched countless other youtubers preach care tips - while I witnessed the saddest looking plants in their background 😭 Hands down some of the best looking plants on youtube I've seen!! 🙌
Glad you're enjoying the content. And welcome to the NOOK!
I just cut off the new growth on my lemon tree because it was covered with the Aphif,I don't understand why they loves the lemon tree and Rosses,do you have that problem ?
They are attracted to plants with sweat sap. I have never had a lemon or Orange tree. I wish I lived in a climate that would allow that. But outdoor roses? Almost every year. Hopefully I catch them soon on and blast them with the hoes every day until I don't see them anymore. If I don't and they wipe out a lot of foliage I cut it back after the aphis's are gone from the roses. Most trees keep leaf buds in reserve under the bark. most trees can lose all their leaves 3 time a year. In the case of insects after they eat all the leaves they move on or starve. during that time the predators are multiplying while the leaves are regrowing and then there's plenty of predators to keep them from returning. I wouldn't recommend using insecticides outside. If you do, you wipe out all of the different insects and put the natural balance off and there will be no predators to control the pests. I don't mean on one plant but rather a hole garden or yard. The only real problems I have had with insects outside was after using them like that. After I did, Thats when I really started to experience real problems. It took me years to realize what was happening. have made a note to talk about this in a future video.
@junglenook thank you so much for the tips I'll try it 😊
Nice your table 😍.. If you want sale told me😘😘😄😄😌😌😎
😱wow wow, working that things to do list sounds very interesting …can’t wait. You had my undivided attention until I heard the word roach😵💫. Can’t wait to watch the list as it explodes towards completion. The water feature area is going to pop!! TFS
Wonderful! My last 2 vids are part of that list. I don't mention it in the video titles.
Awesome catch with the spider mites. Dish soap and Castile soap works I believe.
Castile soap works just fine because it's an actual soap. However dish soap is no longer made with soap, they use a detergent because it's cheaper and it's more effective at cleaning dishes. If you look at your dish soap it most likely says dishwashing liquid and maybe even says detergent somewhere on the bottle but most likely it doesn't have the word soap on the bottle.
Most of my plants have tons of small leaves and are too time consuming to wipe each one individually after spraying with Neem Oil. Is it ok to just spray and not wipe? I want to have nice shiny leaves like yours. Donna
I find that if you just spray it it ends up leaving drops that are noticeable after it dry's and it may even be too thick and clog the pores of the plant preventing it from being able to breathe. You could try spraying the plant outside and then while the neem oil is still wet spray it with water.
Your plants are looking great as always. I've never considered using worm castings as I top dressing, I usually add it to the potting mix. Do you think it helps deter fungus gnats or it doesn't affect them in any way? Also, where can I find the music, you're playing at the end?
I don't this it would affect them either way. the music is free non copyrighted, its included with the editing package I have from Woundershare.
Thank you for Sharing your houseplants lovely collections happy planting ❤❤
This one was a lot of fun editing. ☺️ You're the first to comment, thank you for watching. You have been with the channel for a while now and I am still able to keep you coming back for more. Thanx again and cheers.

I love and admire your love for plants. I love watching your videos, they give me peace and is very calming. Thank you for sharing all the wisdom you gained. Happy planting:)🪴
Thank you.
Great video
Thanks!
Wow, that is a stunning piece of driftwood! It will look great in the front tank!
working on that tank tonight.
Maybe you could also sell or at least trade some of your houseplant clippings to the pet store for people to buy add to the tops of their aquariums.
I have been thinking about that, and now's a good time with so many plants getting cut back.
Yep, you have an awesome wife!

I like, I like, I like! 💚💚💚
It's going to look so nice in here this winter.
throwing out the monstera broke my heart 😄
Poor monstera got probably excited to get repotted, but then she just fell off the balcony like politicians do it in Russia 🥺
I wonder why he just did not propagate the monstera ?? 😢
@@patriciapatton2531 I still have 7. No room in the house for another and I needed the pot. All of them come from one mother plant I got in a 4-inch pot 5 yrs. ago.

Our world is in dire need of an abundance of love, kindness, respect, and understanding. Thank you so much!! I really struggle making the content due to a lack of computer and editing skills. Im spending more time on that then anything else. Your comment is very much appreciated. The video I just uploaded took me 10 hrs. just in editing time. Your comment on this video made that time invested on that one worthwhile. Thank you.
Have put the 'like button ' also for you and your Lovely greens, and shrimps..😂,
You're the best!
Beautiful room! Quick question: have you noticed any respitory issues with your jungle room or the pond?
Not at all. My humidity is not high, and all the plants and healthy soil keeps the air clean.☺️
there's something called mic and you need to wear it otherwise you are only talking to your plants.
Yes..... It's on the list, looking like a new camera Aswell. I'll get them at the same time.
Wow 🤩 those monstera plants look so healthy
Waite till they get their leaves cleaned with the neem oil.😁😁😁

I appreciate you sharing your vision, very exciting! I've learned a lot especially on those amazing moss poles. So fun! That pond liner and it's contents is going to be spectacular! Still summer/autumn here in Arizona. Thank you!
You are so welcome! I only had my plant out for four months this year so far and may need to move them back in in a few weeks.
Finally, a tank that looks similar to one of mine ❤
Can I just come over and lay on the floor lol 😂 so beautiful I'm still growing my home jungle 😊I'd love to know what the grass type plant I'd coming from the corner aquarium I've been trying to find pretty lush aquarium growers
That's dwarf hair grass. It's a really nice carpeting plant but it is a stem plant, so it feeds from its roots. You'll need a nutrient-rich substrate or add root tabs. And it does require a lot of light.
@junglenook sorry the grass like one sticking out from the top of the aquarium. The aquarium that is sitting in your corner by the window :) that plant it's so lush
The tank at the start of the video ...it's an arrowhead plant, I make a cut below the node and place the node just under the water line. The tank at the end of the video...that I pulled out of a pond, not sure what it is. It all died. Give me a minute mark if you want so Im sure what tank you are asking about.☺️
Any plant with a node seems to do well growing its roots in the water. But they need to be water roots from the start. Water the mother plant good the day before making the cut. After making the cut let it sit in the air for 5-10 minutes before placing it into the water.
Is that an Axolotl baby?
No. It's a freshwater newt he was in that large clump of vegetation I got out of that small pond.
@@junglenook lol looks just like an Axolotl … amazing creature
So so beautifu
Thank you so so much☺️🪴🌿
Thank you for Sharing your beautiful AQUARIUM 😎😎
My pleasure!😊🐟🪴
Hello from France , i love love love , amazing bravoooooooo
😊🐟🐠
I think you should do a mini dwarf hairgrass carpet ("Belem" Dwarf Hairgrass grows only 2-3 inches) in the tank by the window. That tank can actually grow it because of the sunlight and sand substrate. I have similar lights as you. I have noticed over time they simply do not provide adequate intensity for the results many aquatic-plant-keepers dream about. The sun is the ultimate light source in a way. Just imagine that beautiful uniform lush grass with some rocks and wood. Takes care of tons of waste and debris.
On the shrimp rack, the one in this room with the 3 rimless tanks, the one in the middle was growing a nice carpet. I think the substrate became depleted of nurturance and stopped spreading out and cannot keep up with me removing it for other tanks. When I start over feeding it again maybe it will start to grow like it did in the past. Also, when I reduced the food and the shrimp population dropped, I reduced the amount of time the light was on to control Alge. Im not going to started over feeding until I can afford a new heater, so the temp is more favorable for shrimp to reproduce faster. I was running my light 12 hrs. a day and it's a 10-gallon tank. Tanks for watching and commenting
You need to cover your windows when you film … to get rid of the glance on the glass while filming… your aquariums are amazing
thank you.....They really creep some people out...Especially when I put my hands in them....lol
@@junglenook lol 😂
@@junglenook I wish I had a room like that
You're doing some really cool stuff yourself!
@@junglenook I’m trying…maybe one day it’s gonna look nice and green like yours 🤟
Love the black walls ❤
Oops.. sent the reply to the wrong comment. The stuff I'm using to cover the walls is black landscaping fabric. The stuff you use and gardens under the mulch to control weeds. It's perforated so I hope it doesn't create mildew between it and the law. It's very inexpensive and light I only use thumbtacks to hold it up.
@@junglenook ohhhh I’m super familiar with this kind of products just never thought of such improvisation) I’m gonna try myself… thx a lot
Great looking tanks!
Glad you like them!
Its land scaping fabric....the stuff you put under mulch to control weed in the garden. I used thumb tacks to hang it.
I highly enjoyed your ‘father fish inspired’ room. You gave me a ton of inspiration and greater insight into your bountiful mind. I see your vision, your channel will grow, in time. In my opinion (that you didn’t ask for), stay true to your creative process and be authentic. That means more to me. Thank you for sharing your Jungle Nook with the World.
Awesome! Thank you! Have a wonderful day!
Sorry dude, I noticed you were using superglue
Yes, aquarium safe superglue
Sorry, I meant to say why aren’t you using superglue?
Super glue brand super glue is safe for use in fish tanks because it becomes inert when wet due to the active ingredient They use (Cyanoacrylate). Other brands also can be used but only if Cyanoacrylate is the only active ingredient. When attaching plants, it's easier to use super glue gel not the liquid type. Also, the glue will become white when wet so please be aware of this. Depending on where its used it may be visible. You only need a small drop.
Why are you using super glue? Is there any reason?
I mostly use it to hold down Driftwood that I cannot get to stop floating even after I soak it I'll glue a rock or something onto it.
