Fujifilm X-T5 in Japan - Cinematic Editing
In this video, I walk you through my editing process for street photography captured in Japan using the Fujifilm X-T5 paired with the 18mm f/1.4 lens and a Black Mist Pro 1/8 filter. I demonstrate how I refine my photos in Lightroom to create a cohesive, cinematic aesthetic that draws the viewer’s attention to the subject while minimizing distractions in the scene.
The video starts with basic adjustments like cropping and tweaking highlights, shadows, and exposure to bring out as much detail as possible. I then move into desaturating and isolating colors using the Color Mixer to create a flat, cohesive tone across the image. From there, I reintroduce cooler tones through color grading while maintaining a warm, cinematic vibe that complements the overall composition. Skin tones are fine-tuned with calibration adjustments to ensure they look natural and consistent.
I also use gradient masks and targeted adjustments to control light, emphasizing the subject while balancing the surrounding elements. Finally, I add grain, vignettes, and other finishing touches to enhance the mood and overall style of the photo. This workflow ensures that all images in the series work together seamlessly, whether they are for Instagram, coffee table books, or prints.

DJI Mavic Pro Drone Graded D-Log Footage In 4k
Переглядів 2,5 тис.7 років тому
C R A S T E R - I recently bought the DJI Mavic Pro but I was waiting for good weather to test the 4k image quality, this is my first video with it taken near Craster in the North East of England. I'm very pleased with what I can get out of this thing, although it does sharpen the image a little too much it can be fixed in post. I found it didn't cope too well when the light faded but for what ...

Recently upgraded from an A6000 to an A6500. I wanted to test the 4k capabilities along with the 120fps slow motion. You can buy the LUT here: sellfy.com/10156232314155058/p/chemical-beach-lut-for-a6500/ The footage is shot in S-Log 2 / S-gamut. Colour phase of 1, Saturation 5 and Detail to -7. I used 1 lens for this, the Tamron 24-70 F/2.8 Di VC USD. It's a Nikon fit and I used a cheap adaptor...

Just Beatifull. Congractulations.
first reaction Wow!
just wow !!!!
F***k, I‘m very impressed😧
Amazing work with this 👏🏼 which adapter did you use?
BEAUTIFUL!! will setup my A6500 this way ASAP!
Hi Lee, I just bought the 6500 and I know that the camera doesn't record 4K at 120fps! So did you upscaled FullHD and let youtube handle the bitrate on 4K resolution ?
Hey, thanks for the comment! Most of the video is shot in 4k but the slow mo parts are upscaled 1080p, the camera is okay at slow motion but I would use it sparingly as the results can be very muddy and very hard to grade.
nice slow motion @1:47 :D
Amazing man. Did you use an ND filter or something? Because your video doesn't have lot of noise.
Imagem perfeita slk
What are the rest of the pp settings did u adjust?
The whole point of slog footage is to even out the dynamic range and eliminate the high contrast areas. All you did is make it look like what it would have probably looked like if recorded with no picture profiles. Honestly the original footage looks better if only the colors were turned up a notch.
I agree
some shots were beautiful, but in the last one the contrast drowned everything
what!
Absolutely amazing! Now I'm also considering to update my camera from A6000 to A6500!
Awesome!! Really great color grade
How does this camera handle being hand held for video?
how can this get 6 deslikse?
Because dude doesn't answer question!
wow what adaptor is it?
Looks cool!
Bonjour, je de questions qui mérite vos réponses parce que je besoin d'acheter un appareil sony
вот это очень красиво
Woah, this is beautiful footage!
WOW.. Thank you for sharing. God bless you bro. And I am sure my a6500 is also so happy to know this.
great job
Awesome !! i have buy the Lut's Thanks !! i have the A6500 :D incredible video !! congrat's - how iso do you have on this shoot ?
I am a small film maker who shoots on the Sony a6500. Please check me out if you like content like this.
Image quality is absolutely stunning at 4K 24fps, but it totally falls apart at 120fps. For a >$2k camera, it's expected. Wondering what the image looks at 60fps.
