The International Ocean Colour Coordinating Group (IOCCG) promotes the application of remotely-sensed ocean and inland water radiometric data, across all aquatic environments. We do this through coordination, training, and liaising between data providers and users, as well as advocacy and provision of expert advice.

Could you 🧬 genetically modify phytoplankton (maybe a larger cold 🥶 water type) to absorb higher percentage of light from the sun 🌞... There are lots of photosynthetic organisms with that do this... That would offer a competitive advantage to the plankton (being able to absorb more light for energy) and would remove carbon from atmosphere... Dying plankton would move carbon to the ocean 🌊 floor or they would be eaten... Moving carbon up the food chain...
