Thanks for sharing the tips on chrome !
Good stuff guys - lots of hard work
Hey guys thanks for sharing
Really nice Willy’s truck - thanks for sharing !!
Im very jealous, my absolute dream truck.
Don't like the idea of the S10 frame fiberglass Willy's have this the value and head turning factor will now go down big time because the S10 crap.
Hey brother that looks great! Maybe a couple of holes on the little piece of the fender and pins on the larger part? Would have to weld in a piece of sheet metal angle? Could you please do me a huge favor? That stainless piece at the bottom of the front fender is driving my OCD crazy. Could you bolt it up please 😂
1956 chevys are my favorite! The video with you on the left side while we're on the right side ? No sound effects could keep my attention..sorry
It's all in getting the pivot point right. She does Tilt though looks good 👍🏻
It's looking good👍 On the bottom of the grill you could also run a piece of felt.
Looks great , good job
Thats some beautiful work there brother
Great video , thanks for posting
I'm a recent subscriber thanks for your content
Thanks for joining!!
Got to love a Tilt Front End👍🏻🇺🇲
Patience and precision!
Looking good👍
Looking good, I see the tape on the fender, I cut mines the same way, so easy to open up now. Can't wait for your follow up video
Thank you, in the next video you can check out the finished flanges. Would love to see pictures of your fender!
I have done couple under dash 90 degree Kugel brakes . However be careful what buy in these mounts as there are plenty cheap copies that do not use bearings or bushings for shafts . Plenty of room in Willys and works to get 8" dual booster to decrease the amount of vac needed from engine . Like it because first much easier to install and to get away from exhaust that could possibly boil the brake fluid . Old school is what it is old school that could be big mistake . Brakes a big headache for it to be safe . Not bashing your high quality work just a mention to think about .
Thanks for the information
Every time I see your 56 it makes me wish that my 55 was a 56. Don't tell my 55 I said that. I did the same thing on my frontend. I also put a 3/8 nut between the hood and fenders to keep the gap.
As long as you don't tell my 55 that I'm working on the 56. The 3/8 nut is a great idea- I'll have to do that on mine. Thanks 😄
Very good job! I have a question to ask! Do you have the video that shows how the body was installed on to the frame, I would like to see how it's done? Thanks, beautiful work.
Thank you. We don't have a video on it but we do have pictures that we could put on our instagram.
Great progress, thanks.
Looks great
Nice work!👍🏻
put that stuff on and you can never chrome it again..how is that chrome restoration if the chrome is gone?….
Thank you for the question, these pieces are going to be restored with chrome powder coat. They needed to be filled beforehand- this video Larry talks about how he did it and what products he used. The powder coating has not been done yet.
I loved the “w” on the hood….!
Always thought that the pickup would look better with a different rear fender treatment maybe like a ‘40 Ford rear fenders….?
We also agree that that look is often used. Main reason why we wanted a more traditional look and keep close to the original.
Why do they call them gassers.
They are called gassers because of the class they ran on the drag strip.
Very Nice Job there Guys!!!!
Ruining a great classic car.
Opinions are like a holes everyone has one.
You just have no taste.
Great job! She's coming out beautiful
At last, pictures of the correct way to mount front shocks on a gasser!
Amazing to watch, thank you men.
Great video lots of information , thanks
Floors are coming out nice , also I like to see the way you made the bed sides. Thanks
Looking good. Floor pans are coming along nicely. Great work Dan 👍🏻
Amazing, thanks.
Great progress 👍I wish I knew more people into these where I live. Keep the videos coming 👌
Great job everything looks just killer. Got to love that old school scatter shield. I need to find one for my 55. Keep up the great work guys thanks for sharing 👍🏻
Thank you! We'll keep an eye out for one for you 😁
@@CRRIDES Appreciate it 👍🏻
Saw 2 at swapmeet, couple weeks ago in Seattle, big bucks one was 1200 the other 1600 yikes
@@ratgasgarage 😳 dam! that's a to mucha lol
Great job , looks good
I'm a recent subscriber thanks for the information with all due respect invest in a tripod and microphone if you intend on continuing to upload the constant camera movement and low volume with the room echo could be improved for a more pleasant experience for the viewers thanks again and best wishes from Columbus Ohio USA 👍
Thank you for the advice. This video is an out of main studio (shop) without our usual equipment. 😀
Great information , I didn't know you could use all metal , then powder coat over it , too cool .
Very nice seats bud 👍 they would also look great in My 55. 😁
Oh no worries we got another set for the 55 😁
56 is coming along nicely 👌 I was wondering how your chain hoist works. How is it attached to the ceiling and how is it that you can move it forward and sideways 🤔
Thank you!! The hoist is a bridge crane that Dan built out of steel beams and hoist trolleys. The chain fall is an electric hoist. If you’re interested in more information we can make a video on it!
@@CRRIDES I think a video on it and how it works would be great whenever you can. Thanks 👍
Loved your ideas , planning lowering the body over the frame to give it that lowered stances , to get away from air bags , which is not my way , I plan to follow your project. Thanks for showing!👌
Thank you for the support!
Fantastic, way out of my league. I'll be more than happy to ride along on your projects.
One old guy to another it is important to stay agile like that. a lot of guys I work with are amazed that I can still get down on my knees and twist around things and I tell them once you stop doing it it's game over. very impressive watching you climb around and cutting the front sub off. like everything else I have seen you do I'm sure the 56 will turn out awesome.
I just realized how old this video is. LOL.
We are like old trucks climbing a steep grade, keep the hammer down 'cause if you downshift, you ain't getting that gear back.
Here for the '55 Build as '55s are the HOTTEST thing going these days...actually for the past 60 years.
Thank you for joining us! We are excited to start filming some '55 content!
A 40-41 Willys and a 55 Chevy are my all time favorite cars. Gassers, modified production and outrageous street cars get my attention. Nice work, and don't let that camera girl be so shy.
Keep keeping on.
