Leatherman Rev Wingman Sidekick Comparison
Переглядів 44 тис.4 роки тому
Side by side comparison of Leatherman Rev, Wingman and Sidekick
Revs are shit don’t waste your time or money get a wingman or wave +
Non spring loaded pliers makes it a complete deal breaker.
Wingman for the win.
nice review I have two of these one can strobe but my other one cant im sure its me and not being able to program it right but you really do have a good instructional video, thanks
Thank you so much for this! Leatherman should have done this video!
The Rev is an abomination. The Wingman and the Sidekick is all you need. Either or.
I see this comment a lot. Why? I have used a REV for EDC for years and love it. I just recently lost it and that's why I here looking at comparisons.
@@tb8936Go with whatever you like Bro. At one time long ago they all cost the same price. The Sidekick had a recall many years ago too. I still have that version.😂 Of the two I use my Wingman more because of the scissors.
you totally failed....one has scissors one has a saw. That is a massive difference you doughnut!!!!!
Those two types of wire cutters are called bypass and anvil. Bypass overlap each other whereas anvil meet in the middle.
Fantastic comparison. Thanks !
Personally went straight for the wave, no regrets!
thanks for the info
great review, thank you
Que diferencia hay en la ltg 831439 y la sidekick. Gracias
you have 3 you only need one that last life time. are they so bad?
It's addictive, lol no I think alot of people buy several models to see witch 1 they like the best.. myself I bought 1 and parts of other ones to build 1 that suits what I need..
@@patrickbledsoe2176that's exactly what I did. I customized my surge. As a result I have a couple extra models laying around.
One is none two is one
The rev is crap… the sidekick and wingman are tried and proven and are great value for money. Perfect for everyday domestic use
Great value for money? Not with Leatherman.
@@Vpentrov I love my leatherman wave for my use I do believe it was worth it after carrying different Gerbers for 15 yrs.. but what's your opinion and what do you carry?
Thank you! Very helpful 🙂
Brother thanks for such a clear good review
Very helpful. Thank you.
Please give us a demonstration of the wire stripper on the Rav...
Great comparison. Clear and concise. Made me realise I should bought the wingman, not the sidekick. Wish the sidekick had a package opener!
Wish the sidekick had scissors instead of a saw, then it would be perfect for me.
The package opener is a game changer for a budget EDC
Finally someone that shows a beam shot outside at night. Not super impressed, but at least I got to see one.
@User 2389 double the lumens or cut the price in half. I went to a Surefire edcl1-t not long after this comment and love it. 500 lumens, $123, built like a tank. And even it’s no power house at 500 lumens, but way better than my HDS
@User 2389 I live on 7 acres and am frequently at my parents house who have 40. Call me crazy, but I like to have the ability to light up the woods or the 500’ driveway for 5-10 seconds. Do I want 500+ lumens all the time? Of course not. Why can’t HDS get with the times and offer 500-600 lumens out of a cr123, with it obviously being able to be dialed back with the rotary for most tasks? Especially at the price they are. And yes not having a reasonable pocket clip is baffling. With all that said I still keep my rotary laying around as I find it makes a good light for working on stuff like a refrigerator or in an attic, but I definitely don’t edc it for reasons listed above.
