Why don't you put the answers in multiple choices ?
Thanks for your comment. If you'd like further practice with multiple choice questions, I'd recommend purchasing the Kaplan GED book. It has a number of them. This is a guided practice exercise, so it is not be multiple choice, the purpose is to teach and reinforce the relevant skills using a text.
A great lesson . more and more please .
@Study with Mike I have an Math exam on tomorrow!
I hope you did well! Good luck in your studies.
@@studywithmike3005 135 wasn't good score for me
@@ChiragSonne I'm sorry to hear that. You may want to pick up the Kaplan GED book on amazon or your local bookstore for additional study and work through the math problems. There may also be free adult education classes in your state or local community college so you can get more hands on instruction, which I would recommend. Best wishes in the future!

Good luck on your GED! For additional resources for the ELA, I'd recommend purchasing the Kaplan GED book and reviewing Purdue OWL, since they go more in-depth. Here's the link to Purdue OWL (Online Writing Center) - owl.purdue.edu/owl/general_writing/punctuation/index.html

Hey mike. Is the kaplan book everything i need along with your math review videos? What else is a good supplement besides purplemath? What im seeing so far is 1. purplemath 2. Kaplan book 3. Take the official practive test and see what i sturggle with 4. But should i study the kaplan book first then take practice tests? 5. I think thats about it. Am i missing anything? 6. If im not mistaken you said the kaplan book covers everything else besides math. You should get a little extra help with math? Specifically slopes?
Hi Genardo - yes the Kaplan book (or the McGraw-Hill, both excellent) should be enough for most students - though I always recommend taking Adult Education courses in your area as well, if that's possible. Some students who require additional study may require workbooks or number power books. Take the free 10 question practice tests on ged.com, take the longer (half-length ones) after you've studied a bit, yes. The Khan Academy videos are popular with students. I have a playlist for Social Studies I have to upload.
@@studywithmike3005 thanks for the information mike! Very helpful. Do you think online classes would be just as good as a physical school? Oh ok number power books. Ill check those out
@@genardowalkine1544 Most of the online stuff is not that good, tbh. Don't pay for classes. There are a lot of online HS scams now. The classes are usually free w/adult education in your state (generally they'll be at a local community college). I really wouldn't bother with the Number Power books unless you need them e,g, if your practice test math score is in the low 130s or lower after study. Otherwise, not worth finding them. They're out of print. You watched my GED overview video right? Make sure the GED is the authorized HSE in your state and check the careeronestop link for more resources.
@@genardowalkine1544 (cont'd) Many people are fine with the Kaplan or McGraw-Hill book and a few months of proper study. Doing problem sets (do the problems in the book) is important for math and reading is important for the other 3 sections. The (in-person) classes that should be offered free in your area may be helpful as well, though there are people that pass the test without them. I would recommend them. I have not evaluated you with an educational tool, so I can't speak to your specific level of GED preparedness. If you want to pursue a local course, check your state on careeronestop for further details on GED/Adult Education courses in your area.
Re: Slope - I'd just watch my video and the khan academy video on slope and do some problems from purplemath, mathisfun etc. The Kaplan book is perfectly fine, and many students love it and have passed the GED because of it. They still cover it, just not many problems on it in that book. I prefer the McGraw-Hill, personally, but largely because I'm the teacher and not the student (the McGraw-Hill numbering and such makes more sense when you're teaching the material).
Thank you for recommending PurpleMath! I've been following their MathHelp GED course and it is SOOO helpful, I prefer it over anything else.
Yes! They have a lot of terrific general math resources and questions. Pick up the Kaplan or McGraw-Hill GED book and remember to watch the rest of my review course, as well.
These are great!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video or found it helpful
Functions at 7:23
Skip to 3:34 if you want to go right into the quadratic equation and already know how this is used. Do NOT use Completing the Square on the exam. I just include it for the sake of a complete review curriculum.
Mass now has the GED again according to careeronestop
Good luck on your channel! Looks good and very professional! I subscribed and will follow along as your channel grows!
Thanks! I did the same for yours
I'm told you can actually get a 0 on the essay portion of the GED and pass by several people. So disregard what I said about the essay, apparently you can now fail it and pass the RLA section anyway on the new test, which saddens me deeply, but may be useful for some testtakers to know about.
