Pretty sure my dog from a shelter is part rottweiler, but small version. Either some kind of "miniature" someone tried to breed, or just mixed with a rottweiler dwarf. He also has a deformed paw lol

My pup had zero protection training and by God, she proved herself a few times.. she took a back seat when I was around but when I wasn't she took the lead protection role with the wife and kids.. even with me, my younger brother and some of my friends one night when we were drinking thought it was a good idea to start playing rough.. she wasn't having it and snapped at their asses.. never penetrated the skin but was enough to make then sh!t themselves.. another time I was put walking with my, at the time 2 youngest boys, they were maybe 70 yards infront with the pup and a man was cycling towards them.. this was on an old railway track, it was lit and in the town but still quite secluded, anyway the man got off his bike, bent over and started talking to the kids (obviously I don't know what he said, the boys were 5 ans 3 at the time and it happened so fast) anyway she charged the man and took a hold of the inside of his leg until I got there.... what an amazing pup.. she's been gone for a few years now but she sorely missed and always loved.. I got a now 12 Weeks Old Rottweiler Puppy. Her Name is Nala and she learns so fast it‘s in incredible. Always by my Side and caring.

I have a female rottie that gave birth recently, her tail caught a nasty infections and she was impossible for anyone to get near except me. The vet dont have a solution and i can only see she bite her own tail until i can see her bones and eventually it wear off half way. For healthy reasons i would love to dock all my female rottie because of this. 😢😢

Rotties can be very scary but only when they are protecting their humans from intruders or someone trying to hurt you and your property. That's what you want in a good guard dog. If you love them and never hurt them they will never turn on their humans. They are the best dogs of all time. And most beautiful.

I remember years ago I had a family pet rottie as a kid. She was very placid and couldn’t guard or protect to save her life. In fact, the only thing that stopped people coming into our property was her looks, even though her body language was clearly friendly and happy. If people knew what she was like, they could walk in and steal anything they wanted and even hurt us in the process, and she would still lick them to death and would want to play and have cuddles, behind those vicious rottie looks, there was just a big, fluffy golden retriever. Even my labradors are much better watch and guard dogs than she could have ever been, hahahahaha. 😂😂

The tail is a very important indicator for the dog's mood, at least for those nincompoops who can't read in a Rottweiler's face.

Mine learns things we didn't teach her. Like the word cuddle, if you say that to her expect a 100lb dog in your lap. We didn't teach her that.

My Rott is 5 now. When she was 18 months old a man approached me aggressively on a riverbank at night, he was loud and aggressive and just as I made the choice to get out of there my dog attacked him without a word from me. She’d never done anything like that before and hasn’t since. She sensed my fear and reacted in a way I could never have believed possible. She leaped at him and knocked him over, he jumped up fast and ran. She chased him away and came back to me once she was sure he was gone. I love Willow she’s the best dog I’ve had and I’ve had 13 of assorted breeds. I hope to breed her on her next season as she’s broody. Check my channel out if you want to see her ❤❤

Im a believer in obedience traing i feel all power breeds need it, some different levels than other but is needed also requires other traing along with that like cage training learning how to go on walks without pulling so prong and e collars ect. But if you do that traing and stick with it youll have a beautiful dog but if your not gonna stick through that you shouldn't have a dog and dont be training you dog on bite work if you cant control it in the first place

Nice video believe me my Rottweiler confronted two Coyotes on my property they came close to the house. Well one got away the other didn’t last 2 minutes Otto trashed him not even close. Got a Rottweiler you got a friend that will stand and defend you without hesitation. 120 pounds vs 35 and 4x bite power 👊
