I know everyone has different ways of choosing books and what they like. But, personally, the way I choose books is similar to how I choose movies or tv shows. I choose it by the concept and rather or not it's interesting, action packed or the cover looks cool. I also treat books like movies and tv shows. Because I have 12 books that I've read 7 or more times, and it's gotten to the point where I can read them out loud, quoting them for batum what the characters say. But there's also those 6 or 7 books that I've read up to 13 to 20 times. Just because the characters went through hell, and I felt I was going through hell too. On top of that, just about EVERY joke or imitation I've done is from books. Now, this would be great... If my friends were book nuts like me, but they're not. XD So, I'm just the dork at the party laughing at my own jokes. Like, me saying, "I'm in the depths of despair," or calling everyone "fellows." From my favorite books, and I can go on. lol!

Okay is there any better way to kick off the first weekend of 2025 than with a 24 readathon!? Our power has been out twice from the ice storm, so I was so glad it came back on and I could watch this tonight! I also definitely read fantasy way slower than any other genre and it’s frustrating because fantasy books are thicc.
