Decades ago a well-meaning but erroneous youth pastor told me that we cannot truly be Christian unless we pray and read out Bible daily. I saw that as a conditional infringement on my faith, and for many, many years, avoided daily devotion and prayer. For the last year, now, I HAVE been making prayer a daily part of my life, awakening at 5 AM during the week to have time of prayer before I start my work day, and then time on the weekends while the house is still quiet. Along with that I have been studying the Gospels, and just finished my study of Galations this morning. Now, I cannot see myself without these daily and regular expressions of faith, and time with God. Thank you, Pastor.

Very nice, former members, kids were baptized back in 1980-and 1985-live now in Atlanta, attend St .Luke ELCA , ironic there is a Baptist church on every corner, St. Luke is the only ELCA In Mcdonough-The pastor is very High, Church we will celebrate St. Luke day 10/18-also my birthday. I wish we would do contempary music though. Blessings to ya
