    I don't think much of your teaching method - or your parenting. Shes a little girl and you're playing the "if you dont I won't game" Thats not the way to teach her to love music . Is she doing it because she won't get treats otherwise, or because she wants to?

    If you have the ability to make some settings adjustments in your transmitter you can dial in the speed and control of your RC mower. Look for "EXPO" settings for your model (mower). By reducing the value set for each channel (probably ch 3 and 4) which you mix to have one stick steering you can dumb down the reaction time around the center stick position which makes it simple to drive at slow speeds and steer with accuracy while still having full speed at the far end of the stick travel. This makes a world of difference. No more touch the stick and it takes off full blast. Id recommend dropping them to around 50 or 60 and test drive and tweak as needed.

    What age is Sally in this video? I have a four-year-old and a TTR 50. I’m wondering what sally started on? A little more backstory. She looks like she’s doing awesome. I definitely don’t want my kid to whiskey throttle that thing, and get terrified to touch it. I’ll check your channel for more info. It gets her excited to ride the bike when she watches these videos so I appreciate you sharing. She loves riding around with me on them. So I know she’s going to like it. I just looking for the safest best way to introduce her to all of it. I’m thinking back when I was a kid, and I have pictures of me on a three wheeler with no helmet about her age lol not really the style and want to go ha ha thanks

    So 4 years later now... how ya like the ttr50 vs the crf50?

    • @martyandsally
      @martyandsally 10 місяців тому

      TTR50 only has a battery that is weak, dies when you leave it on, and dumps oil in the air cleaner when you fall over. Get the CRF50 and increase tire width a little. They both come tuned too leaned because of the EPA and won't stay idling or running right till you tune them. jake

    I've been very curious about these cheap dual fuel carburetors for use in generators. Not so much as an actual carburetor replacement, although that too with my largest one, but just to get the regulator. The regulators you get in the conversion kits alone is more then these not to mention they're gigantic. I bet I could toss the carburetor part and stuff the smaller regulator into my 2000w inverter generator. Then, run a gas lines to a quick connect mounted to the plastic shell.

    • @martyandsally
      @martyandsally 5 років тому

      Yes, these cheap demand regulators work just fine and any way you can get the propane in behind the butterfly flap or at least not just hanging out in at the entrance of the carb; should work fine. Adjust your propane mixture rich so it runs cool. Check your engine with a thermal gun while running gasoline to make sure you don't run it too hot with propane mixed too lean. Buy this regulator for your propane tank.... MARSHALL EXCELSIOR EXCELA-FLO SINGLE STAGE REGULATOR 250PSI TO 9-13" WC 140K BTU. $19.99 on ebay. BBQ regulators don't flow enough. You might end up having to glue the adjustment screw into place all the way out like I did to get the right mixture (make it rich enough).

    • @martyandsally
      @martyandsally 5 років тому

      ....and until you get it all set up perfect, you might have to shoot some carb cleaner in it to get it started

    • @jamisonlm3
      @jamisonlm3 5 років тому

      It seems like it wouild be best if I place the propane inlet on the other side of the carburetor away from the air filter. Having one of those snorkels would make it super easy, but maybe I can put something together. Would a 11" WC regulator work? I can find those everywere on amazon and come with hose and fittings. What's the reason for having to adjust it rich? Is it because propane isn't quite as potent as gasoline? Instead of putting the demand regulator inside the plastic shell, would it be possible to attach it to the regulator on the tank? I not sure if that would work since the engines are different sizes, but it would let me have just one demand regulator instead of several.

    • @martyandsally
      @martyandsally 5 років тому

      The demand regulator won't take 250psi from the tank. You have to regulate it down to about .5psi first. You are supposed to put the demand regulator close to the engine. I just adjust it rich so it runs cool. 11wc sounds fine if it provides enough flow.

    • @jamisonlm3
      @jamisonlm3 5 років тому

      How can you tell when it's running rich? How well do you think using a tachometer would work for getting the rpm while running on propane close to it running on gasoline? Those are dirt cheap, double as an hour meter and might allow me to really dial it in. Looks like I can also have a special gasket 3d printed. www.thingiverse.com/thing:3408326 I can adapt it to my generators, but I need to see how long the studs are. Still, that really simplifies things.
