You sir have my UTMOST RESPECT for posting this Emeril Live episode! I haven’t seen this episode in years and it was one of my absolute favorites! You have my made my day, THANK YOU!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you very much!!

I got more on the way buddy. Keep a lookout for new notifications!
@@DIY-This : Will do man! If you do post more Emeril Live episodes, there are 2 Christmas ones I would love to see again, and I personally would really love to see the episode where Hootie and the Blowfish were special musical guests!
I was at the Hootie and the Blowfish USO concert at McGuire AFB and Emeril Live at another night but not both on the same show….but I will keep looking. Have faith my friend.
Real cooking show at its finest. None of that salt bae BS
Yep! and a real nice guy!
It's fascinating to think of the personal courage it took for the really early pioneers like the Wright brothers or Louis Blériot to undertake the flights they did, under such primitive conditions with more or less untested machines. Not to take anything away from later pioneer aviators like Charles Lindbergh or Amelia Earhart etc, but the real "trial and error" phase of aviation development was largely over in their times (although accidents still obiously happened regularly). These first guys tried most things out without any form of "safety net" (meant figuratively, not literally of course).
NO kidding! These boys strapped on a 2 cylinder engine, a couple of chop sticks wrapped in tissue paper and called an airplane...wow!! What ingenuity and what courage!
As a lifelong aviation buff and former Airman, I'm looking forward to watching your presentation when I have a chance. Just FYI, the plural of aircraft is aircraft, not aircrafts. YT gets it wrong every time. Wright Flyer, USAF (1968-1972).
That's hilarious, in my 44 years of aviation I have never heard it any other way. 1 is aircraft 2 or more is aircraftS....lol....No one ever made that distinction of plural vs singular. So I ask for indulgence in allowing me to continue calling plural aircraftS and airplaneS with Ssss, because at my age its too late to teach an old dog a new bark. Good catch and Thank you.
@@DIY-This You do have a sense of humor. Now I have a question: if someone goes deer hunting and bags two does he bring home two deer? Or two deers?
2 deer. Did I pass my SATs? You are making my head hurts....lol
Fantastic. I subscribe to Aviation Week. There in archives it goes back to about 1920. They created so fast then. Everyone tried everything. Great show and thanks for showing real originals still being flown and protected. What fun to watch them fly and think of what it was like then for the first time.
Welcome aboard! And thank You for the kind words and for watching.
They should put a weather sensor on the garage that relays the signal to the robot. It's pretty pricey for a piece of plastic, Might as well justify that price with a little piece of tech.
I agree, or at the very least drill a few holes in the cover like I did. Although the App downloads local weather forecasts to the Landroid, I find that most times it's too slow to react to the changes so it comes out in the rain. So a fix is definitely in order.
@DIY-This I'm definitely going with your fix as I prefer not to have a muddy lawnmower! You are a genius!! Thanks so much!
Ditto, Thank you very much for the kind words.

I used to have this video years ago but it's got more on it fantastic 100 million for program for Australia I think it was a lot more expensive than 100 million?👍😉 but served Australia very well!
Glad you enjoyed it, Thank you!
A conversation between the USA and AUS: USA: Hi Australia so the total cost is $100 million AUD for all F111. AUS: Hi America, sure that's a lot but ok mate, if that's the absolute final cost is 100 million it's a done deal. 🎇🪅 🇺🇸 🤝 🇦🇺🪅🎇 USA: Good, yes, total cost 100 million dollars.... paid three times every few years starting with the first $20k due tomorrow morning 0800hr. AUS: But you agree the total cost is 100 million.... USA:.....read the fine print.... AUS: Ok we just pull out and have nothing to do with the program USA: Ok sure ...fine print...$200 million exit fee ... AUS: Oh Bugger me
Sounds like dealing with US bureaucracy left bad feelings....it does not surprise me. Lessons learned!
@@DIY-This and today we have AUKUS $375 Billion dollars, over the next ten years.. and given the very recent acknowledged of slowdown in production and increased costs within the American submarine-building industry, it's concerning how realistic it is to expect General Dynamics Electric Boat and Newport News Shipbuilding to meet our construction needs for AUKUS submarines. Both yards are facing backlogs, workforce shortages, and significant pressure to ramp up production for Virginia-class and Columbia-class submarines.... Australia won't be getting these Virginia class submarines anytime soon .
Yeah that sounds about right, overruns, over costs and delays....business as usual. Nothing but the best for our allies.
This video was made before retirement (1995). Sad. Should of kept it around. Progress.....
Way too expensive, outdated, complex, and you had the F-15E and B-1B Lancer to replace its role. Absolutely no reason to keep it around, not to say I don’t love this aircraft. It’s incredible.
I’m a young buck so I’ve sadly never got to see this beast fly.
A brute for sure!

What about the water line to the flush valve?
Try using compressed air for the water line. Caution, keep the PSI low or you risk damaging the Pex tubing or fittings. Good luck!
"The World's great plane...." Obsolete b4 it was even built. ^..^~~
It's mission might have been obsolete before it was built. But the technology is still superior 70 years later. It's still the largest and fastest bomber ever built.

Thank you! He is one of my favorites also. Especially after donating his time and money for Us troops away from our families on Thanksgiving....BAM!
That's good, whatever works for you. I just wanted to keep it simple and drill a few holes in the hood inside hinge to keep it clean. It's worked great for the last few years. Thanks for watching from my favorite overseas country. Ciao for now
Great job taking care of it!
Thanks 👍 I try!

My brother SSgt Rande Hulec was on that plane and I toured the site a few months later. Thank you for making this and remembering those who lost their lives. I had no idea the crew had volunteered for this mission. My heart goes out to all who went through this life changing experience ❤
I knew your brother Rande when I was stationed at Ramstein, He worked in the weather shop and I worked next door in Base Ops. I even talked to him shortly before he left when he came over to use our microwave in our shop. I also briefed the flight crew that night when they had to change their flight plan to head up to Frankfurt Rhein Main AB for some issues. I liked your brother, he was a good guy and I felt so sad and horrible as I knew he just had a child. I still have the cigar he gave me to this day. I appreciate and honor his service.
@@JAFZX1207 Thank you for posting this. My husband and I are his son Ryan’s godparents and he lives here in our city now. We were just discussing him this morning as he had a kidney transplant when he was about 21. Ryan was 6 months old when the accident happened and has no memory of his father but is very much like him. Rande volunteered for the mission as he felt it was a good career move being a new Dad. He was so excited to ride that plane and excited about the mission. Your post means a lot as I know he’s still looking after Ryan and I really needed to hear this today. 🙏❤️❤️
May your brother and the rest of the souls on board that perished that day rest in peace. Although that field has some over ground brush, the crash site has been kept clear and a plaque was placed there to remember the fallen. I used to see the open field on departure and remember them.

Noah Diedrich, was brilliant advisor, A trusted confidant & father figure to Howard Hughes. Perhaps the only person that Hughes would trust Noah Dietrich"s concerns, involed shares in the empire that were promised to him by Howard Hughes. Hughes declined to answer. They respectfully parted way Noah Dietrich never publicly betrayed that trust!

I’m about to do this job on my 2002 Tacoma. I noticed some of the valve gasket cover kits they sell on Amazon do not come with the 2 half moon pieces. Do you need to replace them when doing this job?

Yet another one on my late cousin.....
Nice!
My hero as a teen! Never knew of the personal demons he faced….
Mine also, yeah he was troubled, but a genius just the same.
The seclusion of Howard Hughes, was an; interest in protecting, a billion dollar empire The same seclusion from 1968 - 1976 questioned his mortality Anyone believed to be dead, numerous times, over the last eight years, can't be a subject of facts It defies common sense
I believe his seclusion and isolation contributed to his mental condition. And vice versa.
@ He suffered from Asperger’s…better able to relate to mechanical things rather than people….Great talent has its price.
I recall a photo of him taken in the 1930s dressed in a tuxedo flanked by two starlets…..he was at his peak….millionaire, movie producer, aviator…impressed the heck out of me as a 17 year old! He had the foresight to build an aircraft factory in our town during WW2 away from the coast….that location became a Raytheon missile weapons plant and still provides our community with great jobs. THANK YOU HOWARD!
Do you not drain the tank? Why do you turn the electricity on, shouldn't this be off for winterisation?
No, that's the whole idea behind his unconventional winterization method. You keep water in the tanks and thus the RV is ready to use at anytime. With the conventional method, the water is drained and valves to the Suburban tank are isolated and you are limited to the RV use. I rather spend some money on the electrical bill for the tank heating element and small 100watt space heaters, but I have full use of my motorhome at anytime and in a moments notice. I live in the VERY COLD Northeast and have being doing this method for the past 10 years with no frozen pipe or any other issues. Checkout my other videos on this subject to get a clearer view of my unconventional winterization method. Thank you and drive safe.
What about the half moons? You do not have to clean or replace them??
Yes, I would replace them (I didn't)
How do you get to the bolt in the back left corner under the wiring harness?
You need remove the wiring harness bracket / bolt and pry the wiring harness back towards the firewall with a small pry bar. Just enough to get a socket in there.
@@DIY-Thisand this step is exactly what I can’t figure out
@@jmaxjohnston You need remove the wiring harness bracket / bolt and gently pry the wiring harness back towards the firewall with a small pry bar. Just enough to get a socket in there
Nice video, very concise. However, I would have changed the preliminaries. Such as spark plugs cable been 1,2,3, and 4 cause you are dealing with 2 coils and they are numbers 1 and 3 and 2 and 4 for cylinders they can't be mixed on coils.
Thank you very much!! Yes, You can change them since everything is exposed. I change my wires and plugs at 100k mile mark and I only had to replace 1 coil in 225k miles on this 24 year old truck. And Just because it was running rough. But doing preventive maintenance is never wrong

Nutarelli and Naldini should have testified after a few days about the Ustica tragedy. Both had seen everything and knew everything as long as they were flying over the Tyrrhenian Sea that night
It might be true but its hard to evaluate the facts of that accident 40 years later
@@DIY-This Right i agree. But 13 peoples died in a strange way just before testifying on the facts of Ustica (suicide 3, car crash 4 plus Naldini e Nutarelli, murder 2). It was also verified that Nutarelli made several flight corrections that day, which means the plane had problems
You are right it all sounds very suspicious.
