I'm a huge fan of their relationship and how it's written because it feels earned. They built it over the two seasons via multiple small moments that added up to something special, overcame challenges between them & ultimately found each other at the end.

the way Vi hugs Caitlin in the cell, she no longer clenches her fists like she used to give her hugs. I no longer had doubts or fears, I trusted her, that wildness and enthusiasm neither of them doubted. Caytlin took off his shirt and Vi watched as everything progressed even further. The scene is not lascivious but tender, we even see how they enjoy themselves without exaggerated moans but with their flirtatious laughter so enthusiastic that they no longer have burdens. a shitty life for one trapped in the guilt of her spiral of violence, the other whose life went to shit trapped in her uniform and her codes. Now they are free, without guilt or burdens.

I watched the show because of them. Fell in love with the show itself. Then leaving the show as their biggest fan.

It was awesome to witness the amazing journey of these two gal's romance. Regardless of your opinion of the actual finale the relationship here should go down in history in how to write an engaging love story regardless of sexuality. These two have faced so much trauma and are complete opposites yet their love perseveres. Nothing with them felt contrived to me. The slow built up. The conflicts of interest. The break ups. Getting back together. The passionate lovemaking that's simultaneously gentle AND aggressive and happened in a jail cell like where they met. It was all top tier. It felt realistically troubled and fluctuated as the the show went on. It never lost the credibility that these two compliment eachother but have to work through shit before they can make it work. Guess you could say the romance was Fantastic...ly done? Can't wait for the show's crew to give us more of their take on this wacky universe.
