John Knowles and Laurence Juber at the Oakton College Guitar Festival September 16, 2017. I was only able to record the first few minutes of this tune, as I ran out of storage space on my device...sorry :(

Jimmy Hendrix saw them and commented hey you guys are way better than us.
Jesus saves
Those are the Days I Love and miss growing up in California dad Was USMC veteran Marine Sempre Fi RIP Morris L Foster Sr served Camp Pendleton and RIP Terry KATH
One of my favorite if not the favorite Chicago songs of mine. What a loss.
What a voice.
If anyone has something negative to say about this band they obviously have some kind of brain damage..... absolutely amazing!!!!!!
Chicago should have quit when Terry died.
END THE FED. Gold IS money.
I can’t stop watching this. Terry Kath was not only the best guitarist of his time (and all time) he could sing like no other.
why did you do that, Terry! 😭
Qué Maravilla!!!
Love the singer!
Yes, Hendrix said Kath was better than him and wanted to jam with him and the band. Short lived though. Too early to go. Bye Bye. We will be seeing him and Hendrix jamming in Heaven! ua-cam.com/video/Btq4MnwvQgM/v-deo.html
I loved his voice. This band was great live!
Terry fucking Kath....my god. The whole band is amazing. The musicianship is just top notch.
Shout out to that trumpet
Terry was exceptionally gifted, and Chicago was never the same when he died.
Love You Forever Chicago. Brings me back to my childhood in Chicago
Damn I've missed his light
Took me till 55 yrs ol to find this song and its amazing. Can listen to it all day. Any list of greatest guitarists of all time that excludes Terry Kath is trash. He was the man ! RIP
Nearly all are trash!
New chautaqua, primer disco de Pat que tuve en mis manos, hoy Tengo la colección
Terry Kath... I weep. Literally. The whole thing...heartbreaking. I sometimes wonder if THAT is the reason we exist. The suffering, the pain, the heartbreak. That would all be pretty profound if I actually understood a single thing I was saying...it's like giving a chimp the ever-warming gift of Americium..."I was definitely warm"...:)
Great energy in this performance!
1980? Wow!
I note that in this performance, the drummer, as a lot of times placed, is not in alignment with the bass player. He is in alignment with Terry Kath, the guitarist.
Terry Kath blows me away! They’ll never be another like him! ♥️🎸🎶✌️
Saw them twice at the original Electric Factory, 22nd & Arch street, Philadelphia. They were tight, professional, just freaking good.
Kath, the white Ray Charles....
Great vocals on this live version
He was an incredible music arranger. He layered in all thos great horns!
He's trying to sing over James Pankow's too loud Hotns
Wow! Awesome song! A great drummer tune for high school marching bands!
I so miss Mr. Kath. One of the most underrated Kings of Rock. So sad Terry, you deserved so much better
Kath was disillusioned with the direction the band was going and was writing music for his solo career before he died. Chicago was his band but couldn't stop the pop music they were heading towards.
God can’t make this band any better. They are all so talented.
Amazing Kath doesn't break his strings he is jamming so hard. They toured a lot of cities, a ton of concerts. In this video to see him on fire with his playing and his vocals all out, no way the present day can beat this, they don't make concerts like they use to!! When you are young, having a good time getting high and at a concert loving it you don't fully appreciate how historically great these guys were.
"You guys (sic) are motherf*ckers." - Jimi Hendrix
"He's the best f*cking guitarist I've ever seen." - Jimi Hendrix
qe alecria ver a Terry Keith con su presencia y actuando Dios le Bendiga por su inmenso amor qe tuvo en vida
One of the best versions caught on Live Tape !!! 😮
Magic In action and all for the art of musical storytelling, history of sound. Horns so crisp and exciting!!! 😊
This man was the heart and soul of this band. If I have to explain this….you will never understand.
I love his voice. A true artist taken way before his time
Well said! He doesn’t get the credit he deserves. Xx
Saw Chicago maybe 8 times times in the early 70's, including three nights on this particular tour. Their first 4 albums remain some of my favorites. Lost interest after Kath died, they were never able to produce this kind of magic again. Seeing this video from when "we" were all still young, studley and ready to conquer the world is enough to make me "cry sweet tears of joy".😢
4:24 triads creating tension 😉
Chicago sensational bang great songs and music forever ❤
Sorry but we lost a lot of music when he died, one of the unsung heroes of rock, with Jimmy, John, and Jackson!
Kath....one of a kind.
Missing Terry Kath so much what a talent
I seen this concert 1972 Louisville gardens. It was grate.
