this so called safety features is a joke.

I fully agree with the above comments. It is very dangerous. I will not leave the drive until it’s disabled. Trouble is you have to do this every time. I have had at least 3 occasions in the last month where it has operated on a clear and safe road for no reason. Supporters seem to suggest it is useful if you are tired. Well you shouldn’t be driving if you are tired !! I want to drive the car. I don’t want the car to drive me!

Today I could have gotten into an accident. The car slammed the brakes for no reason and there was nothing around. I will be taking it to the local dealer as it was dangerous. Good thing the car behind did not slam into me.

Can anyone tell me if this is still super aggressive on the CLA 2024 or have they fixed it? My experience on the 2022 gla is that it was overly reactive which scared the life out of you and made you feel as though it was more dangerous than what it was trying to prevent!

My nephew has one of these while I have a VW ID3 Performance Pro. I let him drive my car and he immdeiately felt that his Merc was obsolete. I've driven it. It feels rough, noisy, gutless and old fashioned. And he's right, it's obsolete. Recently we both took a test drive in a Tesla Model 3 RWD. Now that's a 21st century car.
