this is so useful thanks. I wish was it was easier to learn. In Adobe premiere pro you can just click the magnet button and it snaps nicely to whatever markers and playhead that are on the timeline but I couldn't find anything like that on this software.

🌟i dug up a workaround. please make sure A/Z command button is ON. 🌟Method copy & paste 1) copy the selection you wanna move up or down [keyboard C] 2) press P for up [keyboard P] or press ; for down [keyboard ;] 3) when you've chosen where you want it 4) paste it [keyboard V] 🥶this method you will see the entire highlighted invisible segment as you manuever up and down. 🌟Method cut & paste 1) cut selection you want [keyboard X] 2) press P for up [keyboard P] 3) press ; for down [keyboard ;] 4) when you decide where you want it 5) paste it [keyboard V] 🥶this method you will not see highlighted invisible segment as you manuever up and down. You will only see the blinking White line as you go up and down. so visiblity is not as good but quicker since you just Cut / Paste. the other copy/paste method you have to go back and delete if that's something you have to do. lol. basically, it's **not** a single key operation, but you can use P and ; (semicolon) to maneuver up and down. just don't forget to copy/paste or cut/paste it. this is a workaround i just dug up. if there's a single key operation then please share here. i was having this problem too so i had to search and i wanted to spread the answer. bc i feel like for us protools people it's hard to find good answers quickly. source: duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=331057 i'm using= protools studio version 2023 macbook pro 2023 M2

On my Zoom H5, both the 1 and 2 lights come on simultaneously. Shouldn’t I be able to switch from one to the other? I know you can’t switch when using the XY mics (L R), but I thought you can with the XLR (1 and 2 buttons).
