A cat only 20% smaller ,with 10x the speed and the longest fangs 3 times the size of the bear.Gets on the Kodiaks back in 20 sec than just one bite K.O's the bear.

Not really ,they can be 15% larger at MAX. But it still doesnt matter.Siberians are the ultimate land predators ,just search in any animal-biology book.Besides people have a strange picture for tigers,they thing that they are small(yes jungle tigers) but siberians are the largest cats in the world and a big full grown 10 years alpha siberian can take on any creature in the world including Kodiak which are only about 20% bigger than the full grown siberian ,but that is about all the advantage.

Facts are facts,the only advantage a Kodiak has over Siberian is brute strength,but brute strength will never do against the vast amount of agility the Siberian possess.not only that but as i earlier mentioned Siberians have the longest and deadliest fangs of all the land carnivores ,plus the knife-sharp claws,as where the bear's are dull.That combined with the far superior fighting skills and uber agility outmatch the slow-heavy hitter bear.Amur is natures perfect killer/predator.

I wish there were more people like Doug Seus in this world. Bart the Bear is incredible.

I am sorry but Siberian tigers eat Kodiaks for breakfast.First of all they have 10x the agility of bears any type.Secondly they have the largest and longest canine teeth of all the land-based carnivores,also slightly longer claws (flesh tearing claws sharp like knifes),while on the other hand Kodiak's claws are dull from the constant contact with everything,so even if he lays a hit on the siberian it won't tear his flesh on contact.

and these lion and tiger worshippers because of their INSANE crazed blindness for their precious big cat think a bear like this wouldn't completely ANIHILATE a tiger/lion in under a minute. i like big fats too but a bear this size(and they get even bigger)would kill a big cat with ease,i'm a realist.

@Karudu Yep , the Kodiaks were bigger , eating fish , salmon made them bigger , I met Bart back in 1995 , he weighed 1650 pounds at the time , he lost weight after getting sick . Bart was as big as a car , and alot more fun . His head was bigger than half my body , and I'm 6' tall , 240 pounds . His back feet were so big it was unbelievable . He was soooooo smart too .

@bahashawa1 this is a kodiak...the biggest known kodiaks were about 2000pounds (same as ice bear) ...barts weight was 1320 pounds...so there were bigger ones....unimaginable

There is NO animal that can defeat a grizzly . The only known animal to have killed a Grizzly was a male Buffalo , they got in a fight , the buffalo out weighed the Grizzly by at least 500 pounds , if not more . The Buff won , but lions , tigers.....no chance !

imagine how fast Bart could have innocently squashed / killed Doug by playfully rolling over on him or playfully biting him a bit too hard.... its amazing that a "wild" animal was that gentle for 23 full years.... timothy treadwell said it best, "bears are like humans, some are the calmest most gentle bears, and others are just plain mean and refuse to be your friend"
