I don't really have the right equipment do a proper investigation. So this was more of a test to see how I would react be out there alone. Have to admit it was pretty scary 😨

Lovely walk with the family on Portreath beach. It was lovely walk. Was feeling a bit anxious today and it still breaks my heart seeing young couples with kids because it's a life I missed out on. But I'm sure the more I go out the less painful it will feel. I'm doing well but have a long way to go.

Had a lovely walk with Mum and the boy’s in Tehidy woods. I love going for walks with the boys. I'll probably never get have children or to be parent so the boys are like my children. I love them more than anything in the world. It's lovely going for walks with mum too. Will have to do that more in the future.
A wet and windy day out to Tehidy wood's with Sidney.

I finally got myself motivated enough to get in the car and drive to the woods with Sidney. It had been difficult for me because I had almost given up on life and didn't have any reason to carry. I really didn't want to go anywhere. Or to even leave the house. I'm starting to enjoy going out now and a big part of it had been getting to make these videos. So everyone that watches these and comme...

Thanks to everyone that has taken the time to watch through and to comment on any of my videos. I really do appreciate it. I have enjoyed making these. It gives me something to do and gives me a way to connect with people. If it wasn't for this I would be completely cut off from society and humanity. So this is good for me. These videos help me to get my confidence back and will one day lead me...

Assassins Creed Origins. Ubisoft. This game is amazing. It's so cool getting to explore Egypt at the time of Cleopatra the 7th and to experience what it might have been like to be there. I love Ubisoft for giving me the opportunity to explore all of these moments in history that inspire me so much.

Nice to see so many of them there! I suppose that cove is sheltered from the south westerly gales and not too accessible to those creatures called humans!🙂
Hi Shaun its rich from RGH, hope everything is k, this is exactly how Jo started out and you have done a great investigation, Is there any other way of contacting you as jo wants to help you if your interested in getting into the paranormal stuff and if you would like i could point you in the right directions of the kinda stuff you could use, i.e apps, gear etc....hope to speak soon cheers m8 rich
Hi Richard. It's really nice to get your message. I'm doing well. Things are thankfully going well these day's. Watching your videos has been a big help. They have inspired me to want to get out there and make my own videos. Hope you're all doing well too. Aww bless her. Jo's awesome. She's been so supportive. It's really warms my heart. I'd definitely appreciate any help I can get these day's. I'm on Facebook messenger. Thanks Richard. Have a great rest of the evening 😊
@@ShaunMitchell-vAmunRa morning bud have sent you a friend request
Hi Shaun, Great little nighttime explore! I bet it was a bit bleak there on a cold windy night, though you would probably get more bother from the living than the departed🙂 Think we can assume John Pearce life was fairly comfortable in his job. Plenty of work on site to be doing and home provided for his family. It would not of been remote like it is now though, there where other building all around that house. Have you been in to the hayle heritage centre? Could be more info in there! I think they reopen at Easter. I bet sid was not impressed with you leaving him home alone with Toby 🤣
Hi mate. Hope you're having a great week. You're right mate it was a bit bleak walking up there. Did think to myself while I was there that the scariest thing would be to meet a actual living person. Definitely going to go with someone next time. It's cool to know that the Pearce family would have had a comfortable life there. And would have neighbours. I haven't been into the heritage centre yet bud. But I really should. It would be cool to learn more about Hayle. Yeah Sid wasn't impressed. My parents said he was whining at the front door until I got home bless him. He's like my shadow bless him 😊
@ Well good on you for going there and checking the place out. Yes I think Kernow has company when he does investigation and does the protection thing before he starts. Don’t know if there were more houses beside the Pearce’s house, or part of the works. I bet there was always someone around the place 24 hours a day with what they were making. I looked around the heritage centre long time back, must do a revisit sometime, think they have got a lot more there now. Sid will be watching you like a hawk from now on🤣 Soon as you go for the door!!
Thanks mate. I'm proud of myself for going there on my own. It was a cool experience. Hopefully it will be the beginning of many adventures like this. Sid definitely will be watching me closely bless him. He'd go out for 20 walks a day if we took him. We're going to see if there's any seals up by the Gwithian lighthouse tomorrow. I'll have to take the boys out after. I don't like them being near cliffs. They have no sense of danger 😄🐕
Aww thanks Holly. I'm really happy you enjoyed this one. It was quite spooky there in the dark. But not to bad at the start. It was scary leaving though with the cottage behind me, it felt like I would be grabbed my something lol. I really wanted to run , but managed to stay calm. The head torch is a fantastic idea. Having one will make filming easier and climbing over things safer. Thank you very much for commenting and for subscribing too. Your awesome 😊
Great little video Shaun, you’re very brave going up there on your own! Grab yourself a headtorch 🥰
OMG so proud of you Shaun what a brilliant investigation, 2.40/8 into the video when you shone your light through it looked like something was looking at you, so may be a review, awww you did so well, if possible download spirit talker its free, and then that way you will and should get communication, this is how i started out just a phone, but you will get there, but so so proud of ya hun, you did amazing....lots of love jo and the boo crew xxxx😘😘
Hi Jo. Hope you're all having a fantastic week. Awww thanks my lovely , it means a lot to me for you to say that. I'm glad I was able to do it. On way there I was thinking what am I doing. This is going to be scary lol. It wasn't to bad while I was there , until I thought I might bump into a actual living person. Scariest part was walking away with the cottage behind me. Felt like I was being followed. I wanted to runaway but managed to stay calm 😄. And great spot , if I had seen it with my own eye I would have definitely legged it 😄 It's a good idea, I'm definitely going to invest in some spirit talker apps for next time. And will bring my brother with me. He can keep me company. And act as cameraman too lol. Cheers Jo. Lots of love and hugs from me and the boys 🫂❤️🐕xx
Hey...what another great video nice to see the family, and the boys of course, bet they would love to go in the water a lot further, so jealous you have some beautiful sites xxx anyways love to the fam and yourself and tobz and sid xxx
Hey hey lovely. Hope you're all having a fantastic week. Aww thanks Jo. It's really nice of you. It is awesome getting out with my family. I wouldn't have been able to last year. It's a gorgeous place isn't it. It was the first time I had been there too. We really are lucky having so many gorgeous places all around us. I'm going to make them most of them from now on. Thanks Jo. Have a awesome day. Lots of love and hugs from me and the boys 😊❤️🐾🐕 xx
Hi Shaun, yes there is lot to look at over on the Lelant side of the estuary! Dynamite quay as the name implies is we’re they used to store the dynamite in that old skeleton of a building before it was shipped away. There was a branch line that came off the st Ives line ran down there. Over in the north side of the estuary was hayle power station, think that was knocked down in the early eighties. I bet sid and Toby sleep well after there walks🤣👍
Hi mate. Hope you're having a fantastic week. That's so cool , it's amazing to think there was so much going on in Hayle Harbour in the past. I think I remember seeing pictures of ships being docked in the Harbour and everything. It would have been so cool to see all of that when it was new. Its a beautiful location too. I'm going to have to return and see what else is around there. Your right bud , they slept like logs bless them. Their loving all these walks 😊🐾🐕
@ Yes I bet your boys are loving going out more now, dogs always like a good walk! Sounds like we got some wind and rain for the weekend, least the days are longer now. Hope your able to get out a bit between the shower. Cheers for now👍🐕🦺🐕🦺
Thanks David. Definitely going to make the most of these longer days. Cheers bud. Have a lovely evening and great rest of the week 😊🐾🐕
My god what a beautiful scenery, your so lucky to have places like that and the caves just awsome, maybe haunted shaun xx ya never know xx love to you and the boys xx
Hi Jo. Hope you're doing well. You're right , it really is a stunningly beautiful location. We're so lucky to have all of these gorgeous places so close to us. I'm going to see as many of them as possible this year. It's going to be brilliant. Thanks Jo. Lots of love and hugs to you and everyone from me and the boy’s 😊❤️🐾xx
Hi Shaun, how’s it going! Portreath is great for dog walking in the winter, you can get a bit wet in that tunnel as the tide rushes in😀 The boys enjoyed themselves by the look of it.🐕🦺🐕🦺
Hi mate. We're all doing well. Hope you had a great weekend and are doing well too. It really is a lovely place for a walk. Especially on a beautiful day. Your right there bud.I only just managed to get out of the tunnel before the wave came. My feet did get a bit wet lol. Aww they did bless them. They love the ⛱️ 🐕🐾
@ Yes doing ok hear, nice to have a bit of better weather. It’s been a long winter. Sounds like you have not been portreath for some time, next bay up porthtowan is good for walking dogs too.
to hear you're doing well, mate. I agree with you , it really is nice to have some decent weather. I'm going to make the most of it this year. You're right, mate. I hadn't been there in years. Or anywhere else in Cornwall. For a while it became really difficult for me to go outside. I still struggle sometimes but I'm more determined to get out there and enjoy life more. Getting to make these videos and read people's comments have really helped me. I'll definitely be going to Porthleven soon and then other places I love. Places like Marazion and Mousehole , St Just and Cape Cornwall , Lands End. It's awesome to have so many beautiful places around us. I've not even seen half of them 😄
@ Yes there is just so much to go and see in cornwall, You just keep going out a bit every day and gradually build your confidence up again, Your lucky you have the boys to motivate you to take them for a walk, that’s the least they deserve. Your not alone! Think we all have found it difficult after the lock downs to go out and mix with people again, Keep making the videos mate! Think that will help you a lot🙂 Cheers for now👍👍
And having all these places to visit I can keep making videos for a long time which is really cool. Cheers David your awesome. Have a fantastic day and rest of the week 👍😊👍🐾
Hi Jo and Richard and everyone. Hope you're having a fantastic week. Mum says hello. Aww thanks my lovely. It is an amazing place. I really love it there. That's so cool you was able to find out the reason behind the coins in the tree. Next time I go there I'll have to bring some coins with me and do the same. Thanks Jo. Have a fabulous rest of the week. Lots of love from me and the boy’s ❤️🐾 xx
Aww no problem hun ur more than welcome 😚
What a great place again the boys loved it say hi to your mum for me, i did research and found out that the reason why some people put coins in trees is because they look towards the earths nature and wish for love luck and prosperity but good watch thx have a great week babe love to you, mum and the boys xx😚
Your mum must have brought the better weather! Bit drier at tehidy this time. The boys had a good walk anyway. Must of been lovely to convalesce in the hospital and be able to walk the grounds and garden years ago.
Hi Dave. Hope you're having a great week, mate. You're right there, bud. And thankfully, she , it was nice to get out together. The boys looked happy, didn't they , they must have loved. I bet it was lovely for them, mate. Would have been so peaceful. I love Tehidy 👍😊👍
@ Hi Shaun, hope you and the boys are all good!. Yes it’s nice to go for a walk with someone and have a catch up. I think we all find it difficult to get motivated when the days are short and it’s raining again!! Tehidy great place for dog walking, no traffic to worry about and they can do there own thing, like looking for big sticks😀 Supposed to be bit drier for few days, you may be able to get out and about again this week. Cheers for now👍👍👍
Hi mate. We're all doing well. It's been a good week so far. I think Tehidy is Sidney's favourite place. He really does love those sticks bless him. That's good news mate. I'll definitely be out tomorrow to make the most of the good weather. Thanks mate. Have a great rest of the week 🐾😊
When it’s weather like this you have to just make your mind up to just go! Once your on the walk you don’t notice the rain. Looks like sid had a great time, tail didn’t stop wagging! That twisted tree is a real puzzle how it got like that. There are lots of stories and legends about tehidy, the basset family came to tehidy in 1150. Well before they made there fortune in the mining of tin and copper. There sure is a lot of water going down that stream!!👍
Hi mate. Hope you're week is going well. You're right there bud. The weather was awful but I thought what the hell. I have to go. Aww his tail was going like crazy wasn't it. I wish I could know what he's thinking sometimes. He slept for ages when he got home bless him. The water was running really fast wasn't it. I hadn't seen it like that and thought it was cool. I always enjoy going along there. That tree is awesome isn't it. I always like to imagine it was twisted by a giant or something. Which seems appropriate since we have legends and myths with giants. I love Cornwall. That's so cool the family has been in the area for so long. I bet if the trees up there could talk they would have some tales to tell. I'll have to do a video about the myths and legends and history of Tehidy woods. It would be like making a documentary and be lots of fun. Thanks David. Have a great rest of the week 👍😊👍
@ If you go back through the Back videos of Kernow exp Mark and David have walked a lot of the paths and found all sorts of things in the woods. They have done a few ghost hunts too. I used to have a Dalmatian, he used to sit on the settee beside my father and just look at him. My father used to say” I wish you could talk to me Harry!’🙂
That's a really good idea mate. I really enjoyed those videos with Kernow and David too. They both really know their stuff I always learn something new watching them. And they always crack me up to. Their a great team. Aww bless him. I bet all dog owners wish the same thing. I love to know what goes on in Sids head. He's by best mate he is. And because I haven't had any children he's like a son to me. He's my furbaby 😄👍
@ It’s also good when Adam from two wheel exploration joins up with mark on videos. Adam’s military knowledge is great!! My Dalmatian went everywhere with me. We must have walked hundreds of miles in his lifetime. My friends also used to tell me “Harry is not your dog David, he’s your son!!.😀 Sure is chilly outside today!!
It was a bit chilly out. I really need to get some gloves 🥶 I totally agree with you mate. I love Adam and Charlie on two wheels. I love how passionate he is about history. It's thanks to one of Adams and Kernows videos I was able to visit and go into a WW2 bunker , mortar pit near me. I had never gone in one before and being fascinated with WW2 history it was a amazing experience for me. I hope to visit some more in the future. Aww bless him. They really are more than pet's aren't they. Sidney is definitely like a soul mate to me. Life wouldn't be the same without them 😊🐕🐾
Wow those woods look amazing, did remind me of Blair witch lol, side really enjoyed himself that water must be freezing lol, this weekends video you get a mention, one question I have is how do you do the videos as I cannot seem to do any lives and just upload videos but I want to do more, any help hun would be great if ya can xx ❤ to you and sid and Toby xx
Hi Jo and Richard and all the gang. Hope you're all having a great week. It does feel like the Blair Witch around there. I was thinking the same thing. There's meant to be some even creepier places around there I need too find. I heard there was a hospital up there somewhere that burnt down. And maybe even a mental hospital. I've only explored a tiny portion of the woods. I think it's pretty big. Awww thanks Jo. It's nice to get a mention. Made me smile when you said about that. Wish I could help you with going live. But I'm useless with stuff like that. I'm still trying to figure out how to join live streams so I can comment but I can't figure that out either. Will let you know if I can ever figure these things out. Thanks Jo. Your awesome. Lots of love from me and the boy’s 😄❤️🐕 xx
🤣🤣🤣 now thats a stick bless him, bigger than him no wonder he cannot carry it aww just perfect xz 😙😙😙 slightly windy there lol xx love the boys and yourself xx
Hi Jo. Hope you're all doing well. You're right there. The bigger the stick, the happier he is , bless him. I could tell he was very happy and proud of himself to get that stick all the way home. It was very windy down there today , It was so windy I was walking sideways, lol. And it was freezing. My face was hurting it was so cold 🥶. Aww, thanks, Jo. That's really sweet of you. You all mean a lot to me, too. I appreciate you being there and all of your lovely comments and support. It means a lot to me. Thank you, my lovely. Lots of love and hugs from me and the boy’s ❤️🐕😊 xx
Sid is so funny🤣 And very determined!! It’s just simple pleasures with dogs, they can teach us a lot really. I bet you got a garden full of sticks at home!!😀. Where was Toby today?
Hi mate. Hope you're doing well. You're right there. He's always doing something to make me laugh, bless him. He loves carrying his sticks and has a huge pile by the front door. Sadly, I couldn't get Toby to go out today. When he doesn't want to go, he hides lol. But when he does want to go, he's the first one at the front door bless him. Hopefully, he'll come out on Wednesday when I take them to Tehidy 😊
@ Hi Shaun, yes doing ok, apart from this weather. We are sure getting winter this year! Sounds like Toby is the older wiser one, only goes out if it’s dry🙂 If you can go tehidy tomorrow may be better, the forecast I just seen for Wednesday was not too good!!😰
I'm glad to hear you're doing well mate. The weather really has been terrible hasn't it. Our neighbours have lost a fence and I have seen garden furniture and bins go down the road in the wind lol. That's definitely the boys to a T. Toby is a wise old man and Sidney is still like a puppy. He's bonkers he is. Aw , cheers David. I don't fancy driving there or walking around in bad weather. I will try going in the morning 👍😊👍
@ Yes they seem to think we will get more rain or even bit of snow on Wednesday. There not good at forecasting snow in cornwall, we are only bit of land sticking out in the sea😀 Hope the walk goes to plan! Cheers for now👍
Thankyou for sharing them with us, just go outhere be yourself, i think the world of you and the boys, cannot wait for more adventures out with you and the boys, and believe in yourself Shaun, i never thought i would ever have a ghost hunting youtube channel but look how thats turned out, xxxx love you loads take care and speak soon xx😘😘
Awww my lovely. I'm glad I got to share my adventures with the boys. It's been lots of fun to make them. It gives me a outlet to express myself to which is great. And is helping me get my confidence back. I'm looking forward to making lots of videos this year. And from lots of new locations. It's going to be awesome. Thanks for all of your lovely comments and for your support over these last few months. It literally means the whole world to me knowing that there's people out there that do care. And that will make it easier to carry on doing what I've been doing. Thank you Jo , Lot of love and hugs from me and the boy’s and all of us 😊❤️🐾xx
The good thing with having dogs is it gets you out exploring and there is so much to look at hear in cornwall. You tube is good at getting folk together with shared interests, You get out there and make those videos and we will watch them mate! Happy new year to you and the boys!👍🐕🦺🐕🦺
Hi David. Hope you and all your loved ones had a fantastic Christmas. That's really nice of you. You're right, bud. There's so many things to see in Cornwall. And I never know who I'll meet along the way. It will keep me going for years. It's going to be a lot's of fun and adventures. Thanks for watching all of these and for taking the time to comment, too. And for all of your support. I really appreciate it. Have an awesome New years celebration and a year ahead, mate 🎉🎉
@ I think it’s good how we all learn things from each other on these channels, like you coming up with that cottage and now we know it’s story, result!! I’m having a peaceful new years evening, that’s how I like it nowadays. I’m sure your two helpers won’t mind extra exploring trips in the new year! Will catch up with you again in the new year mate! Happy new year.👍
I totally agree mate. It's good we get to share our knowledge like this and to pass it on. Thanks mate. I thought it was great you were able to find information on the cottage. Having that knowledge brings it to life. That's true mate. The boy will love it and keep me company. Thanks David. Happy New Year from me and the boy’s 🎄🎄❤️❤️
OMG love assassins creed games, i always like to play thoses kinda games, tomb raider my favourite but i also like the descision making ones as well you go Shaun xxxx👊🥰
Hi Jo. I hope you had an awesome weekend. I really love these games, too. Their definitely some of my favourites. It's amazing getting to explore all of these times from the past. And to be immersed history. I love Tomb Raider games, too. And characters like Lara Croft and Indiana Jones. The new Indiana Jones game is brilliant. It makes you feel like an archaeologist and a detective. It has loads of puzzles that really get a persons brain working. I highly recommend that one. Thanks, my lovely. Lots of love to you and all of the crew 😊❤️xx
hey how we doing Shaun, again looks like you all had fun, them boys are so funny and cute, remind me how many balls have they lost again lol xxx hope you had a happy xmas look forward to seeing more xx happy new year to you love to everyone xxx jo🥰
Hi Jo my lovely. I've been doing well. It's been a fantastic Christmas. I hope you're all doing great too. Aww thanks my lovely. The boys are really cute and funny aren't they. Their always doing something that makes me laugh bless them. I think the must have lost 20 balls this year. Most end up down rabbit holes lol. Thanks Jo. I really appreciate you watching and commenting. It always brightens up my day. Next year I'm looking forward to making lots of new videos. I will visit new locations as much as possible too. It's going to be a lot of fun. Cheers Jo. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you. Lots of love and hugs to all of you 🎄🎄🎅🎅🤶🤶🎅🎅🎄🎄xx

Your right there mate. That's definitely them to a t. Their funny boys. Always doing something that makes me laugh. Cheers David. Merry Christmas from me Toby and Sidney and all the family 🎅🎄
Too quiet to hear the video. Too bad, I was interested.
Sorry about that, bud. I'll make sure I check the sound levels in the future. I speak a bit too quietly sometimes, too. I need a bit more confidence speaking in my videos. Thanks for giving the video a go and for commenting 👍😊👍
Is that song anything to do with mermaid of zennor? Shaun. Not heard it before!
I hadn't thought of that, mate. I bet it was inspired by it somewhere in its origin. I'm reading here it first appeared as a poem in the 1740s. Then, it became popular after appearing in a play called the Masque of Britannia in 1755 at Drury Lane. I'm sure the Zennor story must have been an inspiration since it predates most stories and legends about it 🧜♀️ 🧜♂️.
@ Apart from the story of Mathew trewhella being enticed into sea at zennor, there is a tail of fishermen being told by a mermaid to” move there anchor” as it was blocking her front door! The song reminded me more of that story and it seems this story goes back a long way. I have an interest in mermaid of zennor as my mother was a trewhella.
I'm thinking the same as you, mate. I was learning about the carved pew in the church that depicts the mermaid. That's hundreds and hundreds of years old. The story must be even older. Thats cool mate. I bet it was awesome growing up here with so much history and so many myths and legends. I love living here 😊👍
@@ShaunMitchell-vAmunRa Yes it’s a fascinating place to live! There is also a pew in towednack church with the trewhella name on it. Mathew trewhella’s father James was church warden there in 1633. I do know he did exist because he is recorded in our family tree. So there is some evidence to the story.👍
That's amazing mate. It must be cool to be a part of history like that. This has given me some good ideas for future videos. I really have to visit some of the places and things from the story and do a video about it 👍😊👍
Wow hun what a house there was a shadow darted past at 1.35 minutes into the video just a small shadow but what a creepy cottage shame ya couldnt get in there god knows what the boys would find lol, anyway fantastic video, so hope you and the boys and your family have a very merry xmas, lots of love jo xx😘🥰
It's a awesome place isn't it. I always love going there. That's a great spot Jo. I never would have noticed it. I didn't even think to have a look for anything. I did feel like someone was watching me at some points when I peaked inside. Maybe it was the spirit of John Pearce who lived there making sure I wasn't up to anything. I definitely have to return there one evening without the boys and do a investigation. Cheers Jo. Lots of love to everyone. Have a awesome Christmas and a happy new year my lovely 🎄🤶🎅🎄 xx
@@ShaunMitchell-vAmunRa 😘😘
Great video mate! Good to know what that cottage was all about. The explosives factory opened in 1888 and closed in 1920 after the end of the first war and the decline of the mines. There are some old mines on this site, so what you think is a well is probably on old shaft. So much history there!👍
Thanks, mate. It's really nice of you. And thanks for giving me the idea to return there as well. It's awesome to have so much history all around me. I'll have to do another video to show some of the earthworks that were built around the buildings to contain any accidently explosions. Cheers, David. Have a great weekend, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and everyone 🎄🎅
@ It was interesting looking into that story! And it’s had lotta views already! Hopefully someone will come up with more info on the cottage. Yes now you know what your looking at you can do more videos on that area. Have a good Xmas mate and best wishes for the new year to you and the boys!🐕🦺🐕🦺
I totally agree bud. It's a awesome story and piece of history. I'm glad I could share it with everyone. Never thought I would know anything about the cottage in the woods. I'm really happy I know a bit of its history now. Fingers crossed we'll all learn more about it in the future too. Thanks David. Merry Christmas from me and the boy’s. And all of us 🎄🎅🎄
What have they found????? Sandy feet and sea air, they should sleep well hun lol xxx😗
Sidney found his favourite treasure today. A new stick, lol. You're right there, my lovely. They slept for hours when they got home 😊❤xx
@@ShaunMitchell-vAmunRa think i need some of that sea air may help me sleep xx
Bless you. A walk on the dunes would help. I'd bottle it and send it your way if I could 😊❤️ xx
Digging for gold 😂 awww love it xx
They were bless them. They love really do love to dig. Maybe one day will discover some buried treasure 😄❤ xx
Think there will be plenty of sand on the home carpet after all that digging!🤣
Hiya mate. Hope you had a good day. Your right there bud. It was everywhere. It was all over my bed too. It's definitely the sandyess they have ever been 🤣
You almost feel your back in Victorian times! If only they had one of hayle harbour, with Harvey’s building there ships and beam engines on the quay!🙂
I agree with you mate. That would be absolutely amazing. I love these games. They allow me to explore my favourite time periods. And to get a small taste of what it might have been like to be there 👍😊👍
What a wonderful life your two dogs have! And they clearly worship you Shaun👍
Awww thanks David. That's really nice of you mate. I really adore those two. They really are like my kids bless them 👍😊👍
What a lovely video and those ruins, as usual looks like you were all having fun, sorry for the late reply but its kinda busy for us atm what an enjoyable video as alwaya, lots of love jo x😘
Hiya Jo and crew. Hope you're all doing well and having a great weekend. Thanks, my lovely. It was a lovely walk with the boys. We all love it up there. I recently found out there were a couple of huge explosions up there a long time again that killed a lot of people. Next time, I'm up there. I will pay my respects to them. That's alright, my lovely. It's always nice to read your comments. Cheers, Jo. Have a lovely rest of the weekend and a week ahead, too. And have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, too. Lots of love and hugs from all of us 🎄❤️🐾 xx
That's so cool. I didn't know it was for the first world war too. Imagine working with stuff like that on a daily basis. It would always be fascinating. But also slightly nerve-wracking. If something went wrong. We'd been blown to smithereens. Reminds me of the guys that had to work the gun powder room on tall ships. Cheers, Dave. It's really nice of you 😊😊
@@ShaunMitchell-vAmunRa Yes must have been a dangerous place to work! If you watch mark Thomas video on UA-cam, it tells you about one explosion they had there, broke windows over st Ives!!
It really must have been. Imagine hearing an explosion like that. Would feel like the world is ending. Thanks for telling me about the UA-cam video by Mark Thomas. I'm watching it now. It's really, really good. The photos are amazing 👍😊👍
It’s an interesting place! They were making shells dynamite gel ignite for the first word war and to use in the tin and copper mines. They built it all in the dunes so if they had accidents, and they did have some! The blast would be contained by the sand. Good video👍
ua-cam.com/video/QcUJwsaf-4I/v-deo.htmlsi=KOI6LOSEsOwkzlud You tube vid all about explosive works
That's awesome. Cheers Tracey 👍☺️👍
This could also have something to do with the explosives factory, It closed in 1920 so the trees have had a long time to grow up around it.
That's so cool. I wish I could go back in time and see all of this when people worked and made their lives there. Must have been such a interesting time live in 👍😄👍
@ Yes so would I Shaun! Travel back in time to see all this lot at work would be amazing! But I don’t think we would want to live in those times, life was hard! My great grand parents both worked in the mines at st agnes , he died at 52 and she at 43. Hard times! If I find out any more on that building, I’ll let you know.👍
It be brilliant wouldn't mate. I'd go if it were possible. Your right mate it was tough back then. I'd forgotten how much shorter most people's lives were. Cheers Dave. That's awesome. Have a great day bud ☺️
@@ShaunMitchell-vAmunRa Well Shaun you were right! It is a cottage! It’s called Pearce’s cottage. Lived in by John Pearce and his family. He was horseman for the explosive works, so had to live on site. He cared for the horses and repaired the carts and wagons he used. Hence the workshop beside the cottage. He was responsible for moving all the explosives around on site. Very interesting!!🙂
That's so cool, mate. Imagine doing a job like that. I bet it was extremely tough work , but it would have been so interesting. People were tough back in those days weren't they. Imagine living through the times when all this was new to everyone. Would have been amazing 👍😀👍
These foundations you were looking at is what’s left of the national explosives company. It was built in the dunes for safety reasons mate.👍
That's so cool. I was hoping I would learn what they were one day. Would have been to live here when all the factories and mines were up and running. Cheers bud 👍😊👍

wow weeeeeeeeeee omg hunni, what a great find so glad you found it what a creepy place glad you had ya dad and the boys with ya, i did sence a bit of unease but how amazing aww your so clever well done you xxxx may be worth downloading spirit talker or ghosttube its free from the play store and try and communicate but well wicked hunni xxxx 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I was so happy we were able to find it. It was in an epic location, and it was awesome getting to explore the place. I bet it is, must have been a very sad and lonely place to be stationed during the war. Especially during the bad Cornish weather. Some bad stuff must have happened there over the last 60 or 70 years. Your right , I really need to get myself some of the apps and return one evening and do my own investigation. It would be really spooky but awesome. Thanks Jo. Hope you all had a great day too ☺️❤️x
@ShaunMitchell-vAmunRa yeah I did thankyou darling, and if you ever need any help with apps and stuff then let me know as I can help you I did a live today on my fb page about haunted paintings and what I need to do now is get my mitts on one but had a good day, you have a great week and chat soon lovely xx love to you all xx
Aww , That's really nice of you. I'm glad you all had a great day and weekend. That sounds awesome. I've always been fascinated by haunted object's. It would definitely be awesome to own some. And to investigate them. Thanks Jo. Lots of love to you and everyone ❤️ xx
