2020 Cummins gets some TLC!
This week we install led fog lights and a light bar into the Steelcraft bumper replacement. Later on my wife brings her Chevy Suburban down to have her dashcam installed. It’s always a good time over at @smalltowngarage!

Awesome. Those old tractors will run for ever apparently. Really nice video man.
My grandpa had this same model tractor that I used to putt around on, on his farm from brushhogging to raking hay. The only problem that it had before he sold it was, the seals where the lift arms connected to the rear-end housing were bad and would bleed off as pressure was applied when hooked up with a plow or brushing etc.
Nice Tractor Sir ! You can fix it & make it great again ! Keep up the great content & work saving Great American made steel implements to do chores on the Farm 🇺🇸. That's badass IMHO .
Back in the 70s you could pick those up for a hundred bucks, here in Oklahoma
That's a beautiful John Deere tractor 🚜 I hope to see more videos on this 😊😊😊😊😊
Nice piece of equipment.
Nice
Ahh it happens to the best of us buddy 😂😂😂😂😂
I like it 💪❤
NEVER trust a fuel gauge
That's a sweet win
Sweet tractor!!! What did you pay???
You should know better, always check the easy shit first 😅.
I had a service truck. I'm going to make service runs on farm equipment for the farmers in the county and for 20 years and after about 4 years of that I always carried a gallon of gasoline and 2 gallons of diesel on the truck with me. Just stay in the truck case. I needed it.
Gauges aren't always accurate either always look in the tank
First thing I do is check if there's fuel in it before even tearing it apart
god i hate john deere everythings so expensive to fix if you can even fix it yourself also forward and reverse lever needs a long time til its synchronized , if you shift to fast you get error codes, on the other tractor you ramm them in place John deere you cant sdhift while going up or down steep hills else you cant get a gear back in and roll downhill with no engine brake
No one checked to see if it had diesel in it before taking the line off? 😂
I had a teacher who used to work at our local John deere dealership. He said about every 3 months or so they'd sell a new tractor and they'd call back a few hours later complaining that their brand new tractor broke down. They would always ask the costumers to check the fuel but they'd be to mad or to proud to look. They'd take it back to the dealer or send a tech (depending on the size) and sure enough they'd throw a gallon or 2 in there and the tractors would start right up. When the customer came back they'd always say something like "you know what that fuel pump was out of adjustment" or whatever they could come up with because the customers always right. It was especially funny because after the customers would always berate them with the "I told you there was something wrong with it you guys just don't know nothing" they'd just play along and laugh about after they left.
You have no idea how many generator service calls at 1am I have done that end up being this...
You need to call that man with Down Syndrome for an expert analysis he just look at the tank and say"you ain't got no gas"
And you wonder why nobody wants to call service techs anymore............ How much an hour is that farmer paying you to sit there and make a video on his property making fun of him? That's your job, shut up put fuel in it, and get on down the road.
I’m the head mechanic on this farm. We have some real winners some days
I had that issue a while back… went to diag fuel system issues and there’s no Diesel in it…
Isn't that special 😂 I have had that issue for two different locomotives. Got called out for an emergency call both times.
Ain't got no gas, lol 😆 😂 🤣 😅 😜 🤪
Pack it up and say fix it your damn self
Nothing runs like a deer… as long as it has diesel in it.
Diesel fuel + propane torch = collect insurance
I KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT
Awe, that Forrest just gave birth to a bouncing baby Chevy 🥹
1991 Ford bronco with a 302 is way better
To bad he had to brake stand it. Should just be able to get on it and do that.
Were did you get the mini hitch 😂
My sister 3d printed it 🤙🏼
junk chevy, dont get a junk dodge. buy a real truck. a FORD.
Brand has nothing to do with it experience way more important. In all my years of wheeling dodge was not really seen much of road.
Without Chevy's or Dodges, Ford wouldn't have any reason for innovation. Competition breeds innovation ao maybe start being grateful that they all exist without the retarded brand loyalty. It goes all ways.
I had a neighbor whose loader wouldn't start, so they jumped it til it burned up the starter, put another starter on it, still wouldn't run, pulled the dip stick, no oil, seized up tight.
Maybe I missed something here. How did they burn up starters cranking a seized engine?
@bobpaulino4714 yes. Instead of checking the obvious things first. They ended up pulling the crank, polishing it up, installing new bearings and it ran.
Get a dodge
You definitely gained a new subscriber love the k5 blazer
@@snoopysrc Thank you!
I no what the problem is it ain't got no gas lol
F*clear bet me to this comment by 4days😂😂😂
Hope it's not diesel!
Hense the fuel filters they need to be reprimed and hence they gonna get replaced too cause they prolly dirty
I feel this. I'm an HVAC tech and you'd never guess how many times I get after hours call because the furnace doesn't work because someone flipped off the disconnect that powers the furnace. Before I come out I ask, did you power cycle the furnace? Yes, I'm not stupid!!! Me, flips switch to on while not breaking eye contact, furnace powers up and run fine, me still not breaking eye contact. This is why we take payment prior to driving there for the after hours emergency fee.
As you should. Got the fees for after-hours service, 1 hour minimum labor fee, one for waking up my mistress and her neighbors as I loudly curse the whole way from her bed to the truck, another for being a p.i.t.a and causing me to lose sleep over something that could've been figured out for free if they just used Google to do some basic troubleshooting prior to waking me up 😱🤣
I use the exhaust gas from the generator to dry things off some time
Thata boy
Much love from South Louisiana Cajun Country
Service truck only 2 wheel drive? Who gets a dedicated farm service truck that's only 2 wheel?
I used to think America was made of soap
Drill a drain hole.😮
Right
"Does this thing move?"
Wish I still had my 79 TA with the T-tops
