I also have i7 8750h and GTX 1070 so I think we have same Chipsets. I don't think reapply liquid metal is required unless you have problem with thermal (too 🔥 90° +). My current idle temperature now 42° for CPU and 41° for GPU while the environment temperature is 27° Kapton possible to survive more than 200° and not melting, so I think it's the best for liquid leakage instead the normal electric tape.

@@w-a-w my laptop already have hyper thermal paste but its not working well the gpu temps get around 87 at full load and cpu start throttle at 30% usage . I want to apply liquid metal does this laptop in video working fine ? My laptop had lm about one month ago but it got thermal problems again the temps on cpu with liquid on full load with 110 watt tdp was 91 max but its get throttling after 4 month and i send laptop to repair and they put thermal paste again and we are throttling again . I want to apply liquid metal my self any advise ?

@@mehrshadshadmehri685 you should try to apply liquid metal by yourself, almost everyone have good results after using it. My CPU full load ~7x° and GPU only 6x°. You just need a screwdriver and smartphone to take pictures for each time disassembly. I strongly recommend kapton tape to protect the Mainboard from leaking liquid metal
