On febuary 15th 2024 approximately 1,700 hours I was walking down 17th Street in Miami came to the corner of 8th Street next to mother Teresa's shelter and there was an emergency 5 police officers and ambulance that said number five the EMT and the EMP we're making derogatory comments as they walk past me the EMT then jumped out of the ambulance came to the sidewalk invading my personal space taking pictures and videos of me telling me that he's taking pictures and videos of me just like I am doing of them while they're on duty. He was threatening he was being derogatory he was just inches away from me holding the phone as close to my face as he could get it the evidence is in his phone. He and the EMP that was driving both had their phones out making videos taking pictures while they were driving the ambulance they pulled down 17th Street almost to the corner of 7th and the intersection light was red so they decided to make an illegal u-turn in the middle of the street with the ambulance. not my question to all of you is is it legal for an EMT and an EMP to be using their phones while driving an ambulance is it legal for anybody to be using their device while driving their vehicle why is this happening and the evidence is in their phones. I feel very violated I feel very threatened and I want to file complaints against these individuals but fire and rescue here in Miami isn't very cooperative they're not very forthcoming and there is no transparency that's the.

Just an update ~ there’s a regular new engine at the station! This truck is not there anymore. FYI.

Engine 106 is a take on the old ambulance pumper concept I’m going to refer to as the pumper-lance. The ambulance pumper essentially replaces the traditional ambulance and can transport a patient if necessary.

E-40 appears to be a Rosenbauer. This company is HQ'd in Austria & recently acquired several small apparatus manufacturers in the upper mid-west US. They are producing better & better trucks for the NA market. This pumper could have been spec'd with a little more clearance.

THIS WAS 3 YEARS AGO! THEY NOW HAVE A NEW ENGINE AND RESCUE. This truck is a spare now. From last I’ve seen and heard.

Now everytime they have a crash, they call the helicopter which is Air Rescue 85. Sometimes an ambulance from Weston will still transport. Engine 106 has since gotten replaced
