IF THE BRANCH WHO IS CALLED THE MESSIAH HOW CAN JESUS BE THE BRANCH IF JESUS SAID THAT HE IS THE VINE AND WE ARE THE BRACHES. THAT TELLS ME THAT IN EACH GENERATION THERE WAS A POTENTIAL BRANCH. IT IS ALSO SAID IN ISAIAH, AND MY SERVANT WILL NOT LIFT UP HIS VOICE IN THE STREETS. WHICH MEANS HE WILL KEEP SILENT AND JESUS DID LIFT UP HIS VOICE IN THE STREETS HE HAD CROWDS ARE HIM PREACHING. PEOPLE THERE'S IS A SECOND MAIN CHARACTER IN THE BIBLE THAT THEY PURPOSELY DIDN'T TEACH IN THE CHURCHES BC IF A POTENTIAL BRANCH PREVAILED IT WILL BE THE END OF THE SATANIC REIGN ON EARTH. WELL THE TIME HAS COME THE BRANCH FROM GENERATION X HAS PREVAILED. ALL EYES ON THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES WHERE THE BRANCH HAS COMPLETED THE PROCESS OF THE FEAR OF GOD AND HE HAS BECOME GOD KING ON THE EARTH. TO THOSE WHO WERE LEFT BEHIND ON THE EARTH GIVE THANKS AND GLORY TO GOD THAT THE KING FEARS GOD. 15:44

Yet another message full of wisdom for the church! "I'm not a politician. My job is not to fix political problems. I'm a pastor. My job is to proclaim the gospel of Jesus and then make us all super uncomfortable with the implications of it." 1:05:16 Love your boldness and humility in helping us to embrace the discomfort of trying to authentically live out the loving, unifying gospel of Christ. So hard to do it well because it's a hard teaching to wrap our heads around as we seek out our own personal comfort and intellectual agreement almost every chance we get. "It's not Jesus plus... It's just Jesus." "Is that enough?" Difficult question when we all have ideas that are important to us that we want to believe we're right about. Thank you, Scott, for your tremendous leadership in challenging times.

Thank you Scott for this great message. I’m reminded of Luke 9:23 where Jesus tells us plainly to “deny ourselves, pick up our cross daily, and follow Him.” I think it could be seen this way to coincide with your message here. Denying ourselves means denying ourselves of fleshly desires is symbolic of us dying in our flesh. This allows us to pick up our cross as true disciples, and truly to follow Him. To follow His commands even to death, if necessary. This transformed person is new life in Christ. This death of our old brings about new life in Christ. God bless!

Great message

I think we can avoid violence but ... perhaps some people just cannot. I think the right way is to pray about everything instead. If we get killed we can only hope that God will make everything right. In his kingdom we won't have to fight over commodities or territory but perhaps we need to be reformed by God if we seek violence. I have been trying to be cool calm and collected to pray instead of hurting anyone out of self defense or revenge for another. So far I have not been violent toward anyone since Jr high school. Lol Thank you Pastor Scott Martin, Steven Pate and FCCHB for another great sermon and series.

So glad to have the context and that I watched an the way through. Otherwise Revelation and it's explanations can sound like crazy conspiracy language. Thanks again for the plain language explanation, Scott!
