@@spidersmcfaintattack dude I beat Missingno on my first try. You can spam spawn it every time and I was able to dupe a lot of broken items in my 6th item slot. Can you even catch Missingno because I want one really really badly.

I think the simplest explaination is Im a moron lol. I was probably trying to figure out if there was a secret on the ledge to the right like there would be in future games and missed hitting up when the staircase flew by.

I actually love them more than the metroidvania's now! In feeling so constricted everything feels so much more important than say SoTN: Each heart is precious, jumps have to be precise and even the simplest enemy could be your lifelong nemesis. If you havent tried it yet, give Rondo of Blood a chance, it opened my eyes.

I remember the sheer quantity of rooms becoming exhausting after the 7th floor. Battles in each world would be fun initially and turn grating by the end, and the prospect of having to clear out 50-60 battles each time you wanted to see the next conversation between org members was definately a big ask on the player. Heck even the extra keyblade cards and spells often werent ever really worth trekking back through a floor as you had to redo the whole thing. I dont think i ever once used Leon's keyblade. I think the remix port at least cut back on rooms so that was nice.

@@spidersmcfaintattack Yeah, CoM can become an extreme slog as things go on. Sleights help speed it up, but they make battles so mind-numbingly tedious that they actually make it worse.

This is Shin Pokemon Red, a romhack of the base RGB games. If you're playing on vanilla yellow, then thats why they aren't there. The dev, Jojo coded them in.
