I think people underestimate backup singers. Its not about "blending in". You REALLY got to know how to sing, read music, have perfect pitch, timing, etc. You got to know how to hold your own. In a LOT of cases, the backups are better than the artists they back up - case in point Alicia Keys vs. Whitney Keaton.

@Kelolo22 oh yeah i definitely agree with that. She is WAYY to good to be a backup singer. I believe she is with the right person to make that happen for her or give her the opportunity to do so, because Alicia Keys is the most humble celebrity I know. Her and and Anaysha Figuroa are the truth. If you haven't heard her you would be sayin the same thing girl. These 2 are friends and Anaysha sings with Kirk Franklin. Something awesome.
