First IRACING competition as a ROOKIE (NO COMMENTARY)
Starting this sim racing and it is very different to what i'm used to such as grand tourismo and forza. I was really chasing that podium finish but unfortunately that did not happen but ill try harder next race.
Recently got the opportunity to race a Porsche 911 GT3 in real life at my local track and long story short, i got hooked with track racing. Started doing research on what i wanted to do and found a school in Arizona to chase my Pro racing license. Having IRacing is great practice and i can see how techniques can transfer onto the track.

Looks great the way it sits. If it were up to me however; Stillen front fascia & Stillen exhaust is where its at for these cars.

Car is looking really amazing! Those wheels are really nice. Don't lower it, it will look dumb. (not more than .5 inch imo) If you're going to change the front bumper, v1 nismo conversion is where it's at. Please whatever you do don't slap a v2 bumper on it. everywhere you look on the internet there's 20 kids with terrible v2 bumpers. worst mod you can do imo. Tomei exhaust is a trash exhaust. Do yourself a favor and grab a motordyne or invidia gemini. the tomei sounds like shit, will scrape, and should be found on cars with duck bills and louvers (lol) only

LOL! Don't go into "full ricer mode" when modding the Z, IMHO. Keep the Engine cover and stock strut brace in the front (I wouldn't mess with the rear one either). I would do research on replacing the coolant tank/reservoir. Might be a more efficient one out there, maybe? The stock wheels are nice as well. I wouldn't put any crazy ass looking aftermarket ones on there...lol. Also, if you haven't already done so, I would join a 370Z online forum and ask for advice about all things 370Z in general. When did you buy the 2012 Z? Same month as you made the YT vid?
Lol ill try not to go "full ricer" with bodykits and all that. Perhaps just a front lip and color match it. Yeah a new reservoir relocation from chasebays would clean it up nicely. Ill keep the stock wheels for a while, im really leaning towards TE37's since theyre a dream wheel of mine. And yeah i bought the same month as the YT vid.
Planning on buying an is300 sometime in the near future, is there anything I should look out for?
Just look out for any oil leaks around the engine, maybe take a code reader to see if there's anything the current owner is hiding. But if the car seems good then go ahead. They're well built cars and mine has lasted me many years.

You don't have to take off the undertray. It's designed to bend along a crease. Only 5 bolts needed to be taken off for an oil change.

Nice find. I am currently looking to get one for me and my wife. I have owned a G37 and loved it. My only concern is if I fit. I am 6'3 so that has kind of kept me from pulling the trigger. I have not test drove one yet, so we shall see. So far good video. I can understand you and it feels more real then most videos with all the crazy stuff added, or fillers. I subbed and hope to see more Z content.
I have a friend thats 6'2, he owns a 350z and he fits fine in there. Hes also driven my 370z and he fits just fine as well, still plenty of head room, but with these cars the problem is getting in and out of them since they sit pretty low already too. And Thank you i appreciate it!

got a 16 blue sport with 32k miles in april. just ordered a z speed clutch and csc delete kit that costed a pretty penny but i’m just worried about the stock csc going out
Ive heard about the CSCs going out on these transmissions. Ive looked into the Z1/Tilton hydraulic CSC and been thinking about going that route as well.
The RJM shift pedal is a night and day change. Also GTR map light lenses and start button are a nice visual improvement
I got a 2018 370z with 20k miles about 3 months ago, Though theyre not needed this car begs for upgrades.
100% agree. Stock is too boring regardless of the car, although its a very fun car so far.
Some easy upgrades you can make videos out of: Hotchkiss front sway bar with spl end links stiffer engine mounts stiffer trans mounts rear subframe collars (z1) stiffer diff bushings btw that japanese lady isn't a stock feature of the car unless you added it the previous owner installed an import bible melody box in the car (i have one too!) and you can select from a bunch of different sayings I'm using the seatbelt reminder one myself

What is your wheel/tire setup? I really want to go 18x9.5 +22 front and 18x10.5 +22 rear. Tires 245/35 and 265/35 but not sure if it’ll rub or how large spacers I’ll need
In the Rear: 255/35 Front: 255/35 18x9.5 +10 wheels squared, and +50mm rear/front fenders
Which shipping option did you go with? They have Russian post, ems, and then the most expensive dhl. Was curious which route you went and how long it took. I'm in the usa as well.
I went with their Russian post first, which took about 2-3 months to get. But with my recent purchase i decided to go with their fastest most expensive one and got them in about a month.

Do you get any rubbing with that wheel setup
I did with the 30mm rear fenders, but with the 50mm theres plenty of clearance so it doesn't rub anymore. The fronts dont rub either.
