@@lexludovice3458 The Bible says that the dead know nothing and sleep within the grave until the resurrection. Judgement happens in the resurrection ------- not on the day of one's death. Until the resurrection ------- to the dead know nothing and feel nothing. There's no eternal soul that goes somewhere at death to but all ------- go to the grave. The Bible doesn't teach that we have an immortal soul. Hell ------- the grave ------- sheol ------- hades ------- the common ------- grave. Not an eternal place of torment. There are no torture chambers under the Earth! This whole idea ------- coming from pagan mythology ------- not from the Bible. Some future Gehenna fire would burn the wicked to ashes ------- not torment them for forever and ever. The wicked would be destroyed.

To until the resurrection ------- the dead know nothing and feel nothing.

So what if your body is cremated dudut to dust?

@scotcharron1679 Even if the person is cremated ------- God still has the power to resurrect that person ------- whether the person is cremated or buried. Nothing is too hard for God so He would still resurrect the person from the grave. God having Power over death.

There is no rapture. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.

I'm wondering if that's true we know the body rotts but the soul has to leave the dead body it can't stay there ! How come all the men that were in Jesus time that stuck by him went right to heaven ! What about the saints that are in Heaven ? We knowthe Blessed Virgin Mary is there!The thief on the cross next to Jesus said remember today I tell you you will be with me in paradise !So are they still in the grave rotting ? I don't think so!

@FuzzDogan-i3w Have you read 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18? It is so clear what will happen when Jesus returns and where the dead are now. We don't have separate souls that leave our dead bodies. What about Lazarus. He was dead in the grave 4 days before he was risen from the dead. Jesus took his time to go to him. Why? To show he hadn't gone anywhere. If you were in heaven after you died, would you want to come back cause your sister missed you? A few select men, and I bet Mary Magdelin went to heaven. There are some old testament men who have gone to Heaven. This does not mean the rest of us have or will. There are about 50 texts in the Bible that describe or clarify what happens to the dead. Do you believe that our so-called soul or spirit would go to Heaven and then come back to our dead bodies so that they can be raised again to meet Jesus in the sky? Kind of weird, don't you think?

Genesis 3:19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return.” Ecclesiastes 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun. But they will rise to life here on earth at the second coming of Jesus and then takin into heaven as mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17. 1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

JESUS never accended to heaven when He rose from death on the third day. He was still here for 40 days. The Bible says He appeared to Mary and His disciples before ​He accended to Heaven. It was 4 days before Jesus raised Lazarus from death. Jesus was in no rush to get to Lazarus, wanting to show that Lazarus hadn't gone to Heaven after he died. There are many many texts in the Bible about what happens at death. The dead know nothing. We sleep in the grave till Jesus comes again. We have no separate spirit. When we were created God gave us the breath of life. This is the "spirit" that's "returned, given back" to the Creator. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. It's very clear what will happen at the second coming. The dead in Christ will be raised first then we that are alive (Christ followers) will join them in the sky and be with Jesus forever more. Hell is not a place but is just seperation from God. Fire can't burn forever. It does burn up and go out. I believe in such a loving Heavenly Father that He doesnt want any of His children to endure such a tormenting hell like most people believe exists. He wants NONE to be lost! 😅😅@GodsGreaterLove
