Grew up in Anaheim. 1975 Anaheim High School grad! I have to say it was a fantastic place to be "coming of age", so to speak. It was clean and safe and just good vibes all around. Now? I don't know. My old HS is 90% Hispanic (?) Does that make it bad? NO, it just makes it different

For Magic Kingdom fireworks, you have to watch it from The California Grill on top of Contemporary Resort! That's something we really can't do here with a clear view of the castle. Their castle is so huge, it illuminates and is visible from up there. It's 10x better with a glass of wine in hand too :)

Affordable housing never equals good. Anaheim knocked down many businesses near the stadium and built condos. They couldn't sell many of them so converted them to rentals and this was about 20 years ago. What makes this new development better? You want fries with that? Next, I worked in that area near Disneyland. We used to call that area Anaslime. It didn't earn that nickname for just any reason. Use caution. I worked for a large telecom company in Anaheim. Due to technology advances, my job was eliminated. Humans were obsolete at that point and this was a very long time ago. I've been retired for 18 years.

I lived in Anaheim in the early 90s, and I have such fond memories of the nice neighborhoods there. It’s amazing to see how much has changed and yet how some of the charm has stayed the same!

Nice breakdown of some of the great options in AH, Monica. One correction on the neighborhood amenities, though. There are no longer movie theaters in AH. Both the Theaters in the Festival center and ones at Imperial and La Palma have closed. There are theaters right next door in Yorba Linda and a bit down the road in either Orange or Brea.

How much road infrastructure for traffic are they providing.
